I have a list of uk companies where management owns significant percentage of the business. I call them owner-operator businesses (they are supposed to outperform for obvious reasons). There are about 200 companies on the list. Going through these one by one and finding some really interesting businesses to study ..

CSN increases divi, which is what we want, but the results are opaque to me (although they try harder than most insurance companies) and there seems to be some negatives.

I see the CEO of SDX doing the rounds of the video interviews has brought the price back. It's a touch concerning when they have to do that.

INFA did take a bit of a doing today... and more warrants yet to be issued but plenty positive newsflow in the coming weeks and months. Security of gas storage / supply a very hot topic just now. For obvious reasons. Very good research on the INFA board

I agree, mod. MSFT has the B2B market by the throat. No competitors!

Hydrus, another USA stock I have a decent holding is the good old Microsoft MSFT, I think office365 is moving the company in the right direction.

Portfolio at ATH with BUR, TUNE, AMZN and BVXP heading north. AMZN not that far off becoming a trillion dollar company now. It's still got the revenue growth characteristics of a small cap company in its early days.

Thanks for your warning multibagger, I am aware of the dispute and according to my son who mentioned it to me, it should go in their favour. Just a punt for me nothing on the scale of your loss. Good luck.

Havent looked too hard at the competition but what I liked was when it started to be used for clinical trials. It then suffered a couple of delayed contracts and bounced back sharply. I see it as a front runner in research in the area and its technology being used across a range of areas - relatively recently it had a big contract in the US.

ps my timing this am was quite good! (so far)

COG - This was an interesting idea according to SCSW about 18 months ago. Sales were static until a couple of years ago but now starting to increase. Losses previously but profits forecast going forward. And if it comes good it will be earning a nice return on capital. However if you enter "brain health cognitive testing" in a search engine you get lots of results other than COG - so what is COG's edge/moat?

Melton John,

For what is worth...

NIPT in its previous incarnation of VIY caused me one of the largest crystallised losses ever circa £178k ! So hopefully you will do much better.

Ongoing patent infringement legal action by Illumina who given their size have deep pockets. So caveat emptor :)

Hydrus, well done on SOS. I hesitated at 32p last week whilst on holiday and am 'regretting' that now though it is one where you have to avoid looking at the valuation too closely.

Looking at the chart now it's clear that it had a high tight flag pattern when it hit 35p earlier in the month which is the number 1 performing chart pattern according to Bulkowski and one of bamboo2's favourites I think. So would have been a clear buy if you follow those patterns.

The firing of the DPLM CEO hasn't adversely affected the share price (he'd only been there a few months). Decent trading update.

Been watching NIPT, a non-invasive very early stage replacement for amniocentesis test. Bought in this morning. Early trades all look like sells. Does somebody know something?

Sosander motoring - I bought at 16p and sold at 34p before buying half back at 32p. The Mcap looks extreme but it's one of those that could just keep motoring so I'll hang on. Easier to do when it's s free ride.

Quick glance at IQE - still looks like a cash burner garlanded with technical promise.
