Somebody sold 100k Vanl 9 days before an xd of 2.3p/share, giving up £2300 of dividends.
I am now fed up of it going nowhere, but I will take the dividend on my holding, and then decide on the strategy.

Good to see another new ATH for IDEA (now 149p to buy) !

Wasn't IDEA a sell recommended by clueless "Shares" when the share price was about 90p ? I recall commenting on the stupidity of that on this forum !! The same Shares that dismissed ARC as being not worthy of a listing on the stock market ? Now just about 120% up this calendar year alone.

As always, have the courage of your convictions and invest accordingly and not be side tracked by so called professionals/brokers/analysts/research notes !!

No, not yet. Hovered over the button at £52.95, but decided to wait and see if I might get in around 40p lower.

Commercial inkjet printer maker Xaar (XAR) has issued a profit warning and Jefferies is expecting consensus forecasts to move ‘materially lower’.

Analyst Andy Douglas retained his ‘buy’ recommendation and target price of 490p on the shares, which tumbled 29% to 175p yesterday.

‘Trading since the late-June update/warning has been below management’s expectations and as a result, consensus forecasts will be under significant pressure,’ he said.

‘Management is addressing the cost base, but are also undertaking a review of strategic options for more extensive print head partnering.’

Douglas said the update was ‘more challenging than we feared’ and the group ‘continues to be one that faces plenty of challenges alongside the considerable opportunities’.

About bleeding time Big7ime. Will it do anything to the shareprice at the end of the day and going forwards? That is now the big question. Hopefully it will end successfully when the drill bit reaches its target.

Presumably other coca cola products in Costa outlets would be the first thing.

Costa coffee being bought by Coca Cola - presume they will look to grow it internationally as surely we can't have many more of coffee shops or those blooming machines here!

Also used to hold Xaar and agree it is sad to see them decline so far. Shame!

Perhaps the naughty puppy AMER will play ball next week and give investors a decent production update as well as declare they have actually spudded one well this year. The difference between the reality and their stated intentions at the start of the year are significant to say the least!

Hunting getting back to good profits
GTC same sector may take a little longer but am expecting a decent profit and a re-rate thereafter
Did you get some more BVXP in the end APAD? I know you were waiting for some cash

AudioBoom (BOOM)

Small cap podcast company BOOM due to publish Q3 Update in early September.

Expect to be cash flow positive in early 2019 with rapidly growing revenues.

Currently 2.3p, could re-rate to 7.4p 'fair value' Allenby have been suggesting, i.e. an easy x3.2 bagger from here.

End game suggested by the CEO is a takeover at much higher level - commentator Zak Mir has mentioned $1billion.

XAAR really is yesterday's star.
Got out when the story changed, so don't have a good idea about the reason for the long decline. Shame though.

Hydrus, reading too much American literature :) .. Owner/Operator is what I am leaning towards now, feel a lot more comfortable with business where management has skin in the game ..

I like IDP, founder has around 40%. It's had a tough year as they've been reliant on one retailer (superdrug) who tried to get them to increase exclusivity by reducing orders. IDP resisted and it's second biggest brand is now in Boots and in Tesco from November. The exclusivity for it's biggest brand SkinnyTan ends in January so we should start seeing announcements of new retailers stocking this.I think management has been a little naive for, but a new, experienced, ceo is taking over in 3 weeks so hopefully the naivity is behind us.

Attrader - owner/operator with a good stake in the business is one of my main criteria. For example, ZOO, BVXP. Out of interest are you American? Your terminology sometimes sounds American.

Apad, MSFT move to switch corporations to o365 is very interesting, they have SharePoint which will be used for collaboration between different sites and different companies, so killing other collaboration packages like Jives. Cloud storage and backup, so corporations can do without having many servers and drives which they need to maintain and backup. And it looks cheap compared with other tech companies.

Another one that came up was Franchise Brands. Management is not interested in selling down while opportunity is ahead of them .
