ODX : OMEGA DIAGNOSTICS.

Announced yesterday they have obtained the CE approval to sell the long awaited and anticipated AIDs testing kit.
This breakthrough announcement came 2 days before World Aids Day.
"Transformational news".

The stock is so lightly held it will potentially rocket exactly the same way PYC has.

On top of this great news from ODX we also still have news on their Malaria tests.

Results are due in 2 weeks time and its expected and anticipated they will surpass last eyars which showed gains in revenues and sales.

finapp have re-iterated their buy stance and target of 30p (Which is extremely cheap)

Once these Aid tests start rolling off its a change of fortune for ODX.

Research analysts at finnCap have GBX 30.00 PT on Omega Diagnostics Group PLC (LON:ODX). finnCap’s PT means a potential upside of 42.86% from the company’s last close price. The rating was revealed in an analyst report on Wednesday, 29 November.

Big the consideration will be funded from the cash generated by the purchased assets during the period from January 2018 to summer 2018 when the deal completes.

Any views on whether it is sensible to remove amortisation from the cash flow statement altogether?

It seems to me that there are too many opportunities for sleight of hand by amortizing stuff that has no real value that it might be easier to remove it anyway.

Perhaps the same with depreciation - again too subjective.

On a KISS basis I think I need my own numbers that don't require deep delving into accounts.

Yes well done Hydrus, I don't have time to understand the deal, why are BP selling for no consideration?

Attrader - Kevin Loosemore at Micro Focus. Chairman since pre-IPO when it was just COBOL programming tools for mainframes. Intermittently Exec Chairman. 10 YR TR CAGR according to Morningstar is 21.04%. Lots of value creating acquisitions intermingled with special dividends.

Gnk a shambles.
Mars in denial about the debt. The F plan ruled until it 'disappeared' from the reports. Before that it was something else, before that it was something else etc.. Second class management, second class company. I bought, then, heavily discounted rights at 60p (something like 30/40% discount). Gave CEO piece of my mind at the EGM, held at 9.30am at HQ. Board remuneration has soared. Share price pants.

Rpc BTFD, could have been in C£9 first thing. Flirted with the button. Not as spontaneous as Kim Jong Un.
Je suis un plonker :-(

Lovely comments on PTSG, very enjoyable - pity you didn't video him :-)

At a glance, GNK looks a bit dodgy and MARS holding up reasonably (remember going off them 'cos of debt and deciding YNG was a better bet. FWIW).

Interesting to add an humility metric :-)

Amazing SQZ deal Hydrus.

Thanks. Extremely useful.

A few years ago, I got to know a retired professional footballer. One with a brain, who had performed at top level. We once had a discussion about the then manager of a football team. In summary, his comment was along the following lines:
As a player you only take so much bawling and shouting before you switch off. Two to three years maximum before the wheels come off.

150% and rising - taken a few off the table but really it looks like a very special deal - 7 fold increase in production with no cash outlay and no shares issued. Big political risk though. That's why it's only up 150%!

I also saw PTSG last night - CEO - "Geoffrey Boycott on steriods" ! I wavered between being frightened and impressed. More so the latter on reflection. Can't find anything negative on glassdoor.
