29/11/2017 13:25 | Interesting apad. I added a few 1st thing on the morning that contract was announced and was surprised there was virtually no response to it. It always seems to take a while with idea to get anywhere tho. and yes every confidence in 4 of my 5 now! (even added a few acso I sold recently) | janeann
29/11/2017 12:33 | For the record. I had put IDEA on the back-burner based on some of the wretched accounting sleights of hand practiced by software companies. This rns is what changed my mind. "Ideagen PLC (AIM:IDEA), a supplier of information management software to organisations in highly regulated industries, is pleased to announce it has secured a contract from a global leader in the petrochemical industry worth an initial $1.6m. It is expected that 90% of the revenue including $1.1m of licence will be recognised in the current financial year." apad | apad
29/11/2017 11:57 | What happened to the days the FTSE followed the DJIA ? Seems to be totally detached these days | panic investor
29/11/2017 11:56 | APAD what was the other new one ? Fozzie- snap but only made 1300 :-( | panic investor
29/11/2017 11:55 | thanks APAD - I'll take a look | homebrewruss
29/11/2017 11:50 | ps The mildly positive stuff in TRAK's rns has been entirely trumped by their dubious accounting presentation (which was blindingly obvious, even to an accounting muppet like me). | apad
29/11/2017 11:26 | Google finance - it looks like they have just made the switch to the new system. My brief fist impressions are not good for quickly seeing a list of stock prices. What do others use for looking at live prices on portfolios/watchlist Obviously ADVFN is possible but it times out quickly for me as a free member these days. | homebrewruss
29/11/2017 11:03 | GSK dipping below £13, red - trying to tempt me again :-) apad | apad
29/11/2017 10:57 | VRS! Brave that is. Well done, fozzie. I come out in spots just thinking about it :-) It seems that the mad materials ideas are floated, rather than bidding for grants to fund academic fairy stories :-) ZOO does have the feel of someone genuinely trying to create a business. I quite like the previous failure too, failure being the most common outcome! It's got to make every aspect of its processes a success in order to create a reputation for the entirety. apad | apad
29/11/2017 10:57 | APAD Thanks. That isn't good. Aim is a peculiar market. Governance isn't a strong point. What were the auditors doing? Back in the day, I once audited a company that had a small collection of vintage cars. They were stored in a heated garage, and lovingly maintained at the expense of the business. Perhaps I should demand that H-L allow me to exercise my right to vote in the bun fight. In and out of Lloyds for a £70 profit today. I couldn't resist a bargain. Hey ho. | redartbmud
29/11/2017 10:34 | The animals are restless this morning, starting to look as though 50p was a good entry point APAD. PrivatePunter met with the company in September, you can read his thoughts here hxxp://www.cambridge The more i read about ZOO and the size of its opportunity the more i like it. Only 20% of the dubbing market dominated by the top four companies. Its a 2 billion market so that leaves ZOO with a pot of 1.6 billion to go after. Most unusual and highly fragmented market then. | fozzie
29/11/2017 10:16 | I have been having a lot of fun this morning with VRS, in and out a few times to scalp about £1400 after costs in little over 90 minutes, ah the good old tech boom days, all completely bonkers, pure gambling. Now back to some serious investing ;o) | fozzie
29/11/2017 10:04 | Bought a first holding in IDEA. I now have two perky puppies to research, so am a much happier bunny after RWS changed the story. They'll have to compete for food though, Lauders :-) Numpty politicians are spending £200million pounds on AI, without realising that it is now a new name for 'algorithm', and BIZ is directing the Research Councils where to spend the money. What ludicrous hubris! Just realised it is our 'competentition' deadline tomorrow. That janeann is making a determined bid for top spot :-) apad | apad
29/11/2017 09:40 | I did Big7 - not perfectly timed, but not shabby at all. Given the size of my holding it was hard to stick to my technique of 'hold unless the story changes and BTFD'. Seen this red? "The embattled ground engineer Van Elle faces governance questions from its former chairman after it wrote off more than £330,000 of work building a new house for its chief executive. According to documents seen by The Daily Telegraph, Van Elle invoiced CEO Jon Fenton for construction including more than £200,000 of labour at the end of last year. The bill was dropped following the exit of founder and chairman Michael Ellis." apad | apad
29/11/2017 09:40 | RPC Hells teeth, what a turnaround 40pup/40pdown. Good results, good forward forecast, dividend up. What more do the tintins want? red | redartbmud
29/11/2017 09:30 | Did you buy more BOO Apad? It looks to have escaped the (close) drop below crucial 180 | big7ime
29/11/2017 09:23 | Good WiFi makes up for indifferent coffee :-) apad | apad
29/11/2017 09:05 | APAD Never use Starbucks. I have nightmares. Dropped into one in London with colleague, prior to a big meeting. He accidentally knocked his mug from the table into his lap. A painful mess, so he nipped along to handy clothes shop and bought a new pair. red | redartbmud
29/11/2017 08:57 | OMEGA DIAGNOSTICS GROUP: ODX DYOR etc obviously, but therein a stock which should very easily be trading at nearer £1 than the 20p it is today. Results are due in 2 weeks and holders have been praying for an announcement stating it had received its CE-Marking for its VISITECT® CD4 Many holders had hoped it would be announced on World Aids Day (Friday 1st Dec).. They have managed to announce it 2 days early... :-) "TODAY" As with most fledgling companies they undertook a fundraising earlier this year which was oversubscribed at 18p Best thing I can suggest, is if its of interest you take a quick look through old RNS's.. Its quite compelling and I dont envisage it staying sub 40 - 50p for long, especially once results are announced. | whites123
29/11/2017 08:53 | Pitch perfect timing, red. I remember you posting about it and I thought 'packaging!'. Buried in Bournemouth drinking horrid Starbucks coffee. apad | apad
29/11/2017 08:04 | RPC Lift off. Bought at around £7.60 couple of months ago, against the tintins. BTFD red | redartbmud
28/11/2017 21:10 | Also have some TET. Very pleased with the price action today, hopefully the placing won't cause much of an overhang. IPX results tomorrow for me. One of my core holdings. | madmix
28/11/2017 20:08 | Agreed PanicLooking forward to updates from SQZ and EAH over next week or two and then it's time for a Xmas break | hydrus
28/11/2017 19:42 | One of the new graphene ball batteries, mod :-) apad Off to Portsmouth on the overnight boat! | apad |
