Lauders, good to see that FFWD has moved from being a "dog" to a "puppy" in your estimation. It's amazing the difference a day makes.:-)

Gawd luv a duck.
I can't find my Wynnstay accounts now. Another document that I have hidden in a safe place. This age thing is a pain, and a pain in the joints to boot!

Yes, Carillion has broken out of the stranglehold for now.
The shorters have been in control for a long time now. I have not traded them for some weeks, whilst they have been way down. I have a significant holding anyway and didn't want greater exposure. I have had my 'fun' elsewhere.

Buy the dip, perhaps?
CLLN should come back to 2013 levels quite easily I should think.

Nice late day move for LOOK, thought there may be value as mentioned.

Added a few more DLG before the close, bought back some HSTN sold on the
earlier excitement.

I do follow your posts with interest. You certainly get your timing a lot better than I can manage, but I am relatively new to this short term trading lark.
I have been in a similar position, I hospital Christmas/New Year 2015/16. Still being monitored for the rest of this year. To cap it all prostate removed in August. Lucky it was found as a result of the first problem, but consultant said I was unlucky to have both problems.

Apad, Just to clarify PRES haven't always been involved in 'green energy vessels'. That was the result of a licensing deal followed by an acquisition when Greenlane got into trouble.

The original business was high pressure vessels for O&G drill ships/platforms and also defence (submarines & aircraft). Much diversification since then though.

DLG may be worth watching, buying in small amounts today,
then I usually buy a day or two too early.

Increasing motor premiums should drive more business their way.
Great brand, look to be ahead of the sector on technology, now working
with Tesla. The discount changes put paid to this year's special dividend,
final still raised, the yield for 2018 may look very nice indeed.
As per usual the market tends to overreact and the share price could easily go lower, all IMV
as always. I like it.

red, thanks, appreciated. Had a bit of a health care pre Christmas,
luckily a lot better, surprising what losing weight and cutting out alcohol
can do!. Under the misapprehension that a couple of glasses of wine a night
was healthy, when I added it up weekly it came to about 25/26 units, oh my.

I an firming my conviction that investors don't 'get' ABC.

It is getting direct results from expanded CAPEX, none of your "It'll pay off in a year or two."

There will be another dip and if it is anything like the January one the farm is going to be bet again :-)

Not at all I respect your views.
Clln - I suppose that I love it more than I should because I know some of the management and staff, not that I get any inside information. They are competent and honest as the day is long.
I am acutely aware of the problems that they have, not least the inability to reduce debt to more manageable levels. The shorters are in charge, with little prospect of them letting go anytime soon. My eyes are closed and I keep collecting the dividends, until the story changes.
Unlike others, I expect the company to continue to pay the dividends and, in the medium term, the pension fund deficit should reduce as interest rates rise.
Margins in construction are wafer thin for all, so any blips will be significant for the business. The saviour should be the services division.

Until then my incompetence is on the line.

Obsessed from Oxford.

I don't like CLLN, flattered by the comparison though,
think red's area of competence is a good deal wider than mine.

HSTN looking a little perky this week, mentioned it over the weekend.

SHRS NAV discount narrowing, very welcome, still yields around 5%.

Rhodium’s on the best run in a decade on expectations of more demand for the material that’s used in cleaning toxic car emissions.
