Thanks, I read and noted the RNS. Not too long to wait.

Thanks - no idea Lauders - could easily drop back now. Will at some point. On other hand could continue to rise if demand is there as so few shares available.

Happy with my start too Peter. If only FFWD would get its act together as you say! I still have high hopes for them and there are certain directors options awards targets looming so the chances of an increase are good unless the directors don't want those awards of course. Can't see it personally so expecting some news shortly.

Well done with PVG Hydrus. One I should have bought when I asked questions here a while back and now I will just wait for a dip I think. Can't keep going up can it?

APADpmslTry placing a dummy order for a single share ?.......or just check on L2 or on here what the last trade was (may not be bang on the last trade but find it gives you a good idea).G4M has massive potential in terms of taking European market share from Thomann who currently are the largest. You were right about FREE, +40% in two weeks, scary! :)DD

Thanks for the heads up on Ams.

The power of the mind can be immense, so why should you need fingers to make a purchase. Perhaps you should wear some form of head protection, when dummy dealing, in the future. It might just prevent the waves from getting through.

G4M - exceptional revenue and profit growth and an owner operator with a big stake. That's a good start. It was very cheap and it's more than doubled for me and I've taken some off the table. Not sighted on whether growth can continue in this manner but happy to carry on with the ride for now as it appears to be well run.

I use TD to check real prices by way of dummy trades.

I am careful not to touch the keyboard during the countdown.

Checked SOU today and it seems to have bought 6000 shares without me pressing the button - any button!

Perhaps I don't mind as it is a 4% gain!

Any advice about how to do this without risk?

H,
PVG I understand - I believe! I''d like to have seen this.
G4M seems to be a Paul Scott promotion - don't understand it one little bit.

Yes mine are a reasonable reflection of my own portfolio performance but due to weightings and one or two other good performers my portfolio is up 25% in January. Obviously that's pleasing in one month but this could well be a mini peak. My timeframe for companies is normally years although there are exceptions. PVG has powered ahead as has G4M. EAH flat. BVXP and SAT both doing quite well. Out of all of them I am particularly confident on PVG long term but no idea re share price over say next year.

Nothing much of significance to note in my entry. Qtx' large spread is affecting the newbies.
Top 5 are 58% of portfolio, so I am well-pleased.

What will follow (in about an hour) is the Google data for the competition.

NOTE: a wide spread company can show a misleading number, if the start and end figures bridge the spread then it can be either flattering or not.

This effect will wash-out over the coming months.

red,
Your strategy is fine for sine wave, steady state companies.
Not for companies that are on a steady growth trajectory over a long period (HLMA).
Buy on the dips works for both.

Felix.

If bought too high I am aiming to add anyway, so it will even out. It might surprise.
