23/1/2017 17:10 | Melton No I only pick up what comes through on H-L, Money AM or the LSE. Too mean to pay for higher level services. I really don't trade enough to warrant it. 99% of the time, my trade is shown on the screen, as it happens. How are the pies? I assume Melton is related to Mowbray, where I ran quite a few road relay races from the Stanton and Staveley works way back in the day. red | redartbmud
23/1/2017 16:19 | Red, can you see ISDX trades? Have you enabled level 3 montage? | melton john
23/1/2017 14:58 | Extra little burst on DIS this morning, probably due to the Sat. article in DMail. pete | petersinthemarket
23/1/2017 12:13 | Good timing those who leapt on PRSM. apad | apad
23/1/2017 11:07 | NOT A RECOMMENDATION Bought some RWS this morning @ 10.40am. I cannot find a deal listed on the systems, either H-L or Money AM. I have got the contract note, so it is done but not reported. red | redartbmud
23/1/2017 10:36 | APAD Thanks. It seems like we have royalty on this board then. I will treat you with due reverence in future. Application in the post! red | redartbmud
23/1/2017 10:21 | ps I'm not in that category! | apad
23/1/2017 10:03 | Clln edging down. A couple of pence more, to £2.31 and bits is my target for another buy. I just can't help myself. red | redartbmud
23/1/2017 10:02 | Here are the requirements, red. Read em 'n weep! Being granted high value residency The Chief Minister can grant 'entitled' status to a high value resident if he is satisfied that doing so will have a social or economic benefit. If you are granted 'entitled' status, you may buy or lease property in Jersey as your main place of residence here. The Population Office normally requires that you buy or lease a high value property. Generally, this is either a property valued in excess of £1.75 million. You'll need to show that you have annual worldwide earnings comfortably in excess of £625,000 per year, and this must be sustainable income. The minimum tax payable on your income is £125,000 per year, however this does not guarantee your high value residency status | apad
23/1/2017 09:48 | APAD Don't remind me. I still have sleepless nights about not taking your advice to fill my boots with RDSB shares. There is an upside where you are concerned. I may have relocated to a little rock, off the coast of southern England, on the proceeds, and property prices would have fallen as a consequence. red | redartbmud
23/1/2017 09:03 | FEVR update tomorrow, along with IG interims. Interesting to see if IG gets marked down initially and creeps back up like QTX. I might increase at 08:30 if this happens. Divi critical I guess. FEVR overseas sales news is vital - wonder if they will divulge? apad ps Unless you are apad buying RDSB, red. Ho ho ho. | apad
23/1/2017 08:57 | The trouble with oil is the under or over exuberance. One minute it is the end for oil and the next minute it is flavour of the month. It is very difficult to understand the logic behind some of the moves. many fail to predict even the next couple of days accurately. Then you have the futures traders that muddy the waters. For once my SSE deal is going south. Patience is required here. red | redartbmud
23/1/2017 08:56 | Read an article about old oil assets in the North Sea becoming unattractive because of cleaning up costs when closed down, dacian. Must be an incentive to keep them running and defer clean-up costs. Don't know if this applies to TLW. Doesn't to the other two. apad | apad
23/1/2017 08:14 | "Money mangers are buying oil, as they say in Texas, like too much ain’t enough," Tim Evans, an energy analyst at Citi Futures Perspective in New York, said by phone. "They are trading based on confidence that OPEC and non-OPEC producers will reduce output enough to send prices higher." apad | apad
22/1/2017 17:13 | I'm with Iweb who are also part of Halifax. Trades are also just £5 so may be worth considering although I think there may now be an initial signup charge but no further ongoing charges once you're in. Their external website is not very inspiring but the trading interface is fine and my experience with their customer service has also been good. Another one for the pot.. | homebrewruss
22/1/2017 12:52 | red. RSW: they renew their agreement. Some issues with the FCA new regs in 2013/4 if I remember correctly. Typically, RSW said they would do it their way (shades of the pension escrow account) and FCA said they would keep a close eye - Yeah Right! I look forward to your opinion next week. apad | apad
22/1/2017 12:48 | Yes, please keep us updated. Before Xmas I was talking with a helpful person at IG because TD are selling to a company that doesn't support overseas company accounts. He got back to me but I was doing end-of year accounts (should finish next week!) I shall be getting back to him and it is complex, so I will report progress as well. apad | apad
22/1/2017 11:28 | dacian, I am also with Halifax and thinking of moving for the same reason. Have you made the move yet? If so did it go smoothly? Do you have to sell and buy back holdings or are they transferred? Is it done overnight? Hope your move goes well. Keep us updated. | bamboo2
21/1/2017 22:48 | Agreed And I wouldn't like to be out when something happens either. But when will that be? The free float isn't that big as many holders are long term and don't trade. I think that, and the fact that they don't say mush to the tintins, are big factors in the viloent share price swings on release of official data. RDL was only a small part of the business but Rsw never admit defeat on anything. On that basis, the withdrawal was a big deal. I am not sure that healthcare will ever make money. The potential market is big, but in reality it is miniscule, for many reasons. The additive market has become crowded, and some of the players have very deep pockets. That is a worry. The McMurtry - Deer agreement on their 52% shareholding has a finite life that expires in a relatively short time, but I cannot remember the date. It is on the public record - buried somewhere in the accounts. It may prove a trigger, but unlikely in the near term. red | redartbmud
21/1/2017 19:27 | RSW are unique, red. I wouldn't like to be out when something significant happens. However, it sometimes feels that one is waiting forever and I didn't like the RDL story. Healthcare I view as a shop window, and I am looking for something positive on additive manufacturing - but don't expect much, yet. The reduction in vacancies is significant, and the first time in a long time. Hey Ho. apad | apad |
