I tend to agree, surely they are on plenty of large engineering companies' radar as a buyout target. Why let other companies benefit from Velocities' skillset and expertise in this area? And at a ridiculously low mcap of £15M, surely they would be a steal at even 5 times that.

Cenkos: Velocity Composites Plc -- USA ramp-up on track

Velocity Composites Plc (VEL:LON) | 41.0 1.2 7.9% | Mkt Cap: 15.1m

Velocity Composites released a trading update for the half-year ended 30 April 2023, in-line with management expectations. As previously announced, the company has made first production shipments from its new facility in the USA and remains on track to reach full rate by the October year-end. Velocity expects to release the H1 results on 11 July 2023. We make no changes to our forecasts or to our fair value of 68-101p per share. We maintain a BUY rating.

Yes,there is a tremendous multi year opportunity for them and I am sure the management are up to the task.

Everything running in line with expectations. The company continue to drop hints and warm the market up to further contracts in every announcement or interview, I believe this is will be to quash any negativity around taking on too much business and any risks associated with production levels etc. Expect to slowly rise back to year highs in the coming months and hopefully additional contracts by year end to take us above £1. A strong hold from here

So current contracted revenue will reach £30-£36m per year and the existing facilities can support double that. I think management have executed the expansion extremely well and I expect both revenue and profits to grow substantially from here. The future opportunities in both military and a range of civilian markets are very large.All this for £14m mcap! Amazing really.

A senior manager selling his shareholding. He didn't exactly have many and only joined in November 2021 I believe. Perhaps he watched the share price slide and thought he best sell or won't be able to afford his new car or something. Who knows.

In for a few more today,looks great value going forward.We know of the possibility of two more contracts the size of GKN but with the associated high volume there may be a need to raise funds in some way.
