Thanks for arranging that melody. No good to me as I live a long way south from there.

Look forward to any feedback you and others can provide though.

I have arranged a company visit to Velocity Composites in Burnley on Wednesday 26th July for a small group of private investors. This includes a presentation by the BOD, tour of the facility and lunch. If anyone would like to join us, just private message me or respond on this thread.

No cost - you just have to get there!

There is a pattern to the sales it looks a connected party raising som cash given the consistency of amounts. A shame Director buys are unlikely given the existing stakes and I would be surprised if an institution is exiting but you never know.

I purchased yesterday ready for todays drop. I am a little worried that are too far under the radar in terms of market cap at present but I can't see why this shouldn't workout with patience. Although heavily dependent on GKN, it's worth remembering it is also GKN interest to see them succeed rather than struggle.

Oh well, the market was neutral.Thing is we are so far below the radar it may be 2024 before we see some real price action unless we can rns some more mega contracts.

Very positive report. Will keep adding here.

"Since last year, the value of commercial business under contract has trebled. Looking ahead, we anticipate significant revenue growth in the coming years, particularly in North America, and also as more industries make greater use of composite material technologies to meet environment targets. We are excited about the Company's long-term prospects."

Shorter term revenue will ramp up significantly this year now as GKN contract gets towards full run rate. The prospects of another significant contract are good I'd suggest and regardless outside of this the business is busy anyway.I think the fact the US site can handle £70m revenue is a guide to where they see the business going over the next few years. Following that I then look forward to the day they say they've built another new site as the last one was a superbly held secret. £18m mcap still!

"Since last year the value of commercial business under contract has trebled."Short but very positive statement and the current loss is explained by the initial set up costs of the US facility.More than happy to have this in my portfolio but short term maybe the market will be neutral.

The chances of airline companies outsourcing from the USA and Europe toChina for aircraft manufacturing in the current political climate is as close to zero as you can get I would suspect. On-shoring is the trend which is the exact opposite direction.

Looking at the wider picture, the world has been dominated by Boeing and Airbus. There is now a new kid on the block which is a Chinese manufacturer. Is there room for 3 majors and what will be the impact of the Chinese manufacturer? I feel that either Boeing or Airbus will fall by the wayside so how might that affect VEL, as it is now setting up a new facility near Boeing?

I have no doubt O'Leary will have negotiated a great deal for his new 737s in light of the recent disasters involving Boeing. It also asks questions on the whole Boeing management and have they really changed or just reacted to the crisis? The Western producers will have to be flexible and streamlined if they are to survive the Chinese onslaught.

Am I being too negative? I hope I am wrong!
