Yes Gary, you are of course running the risk (tiny in my view) thatvthe deal collapse and that is the merger arbitrage premium.

I am confident when I say it’s dinner on you :-)

If I buy 3,500 shares now at 821p with SD and comm thats £28,886.With 3,500 shares at 825p is £28,875.But I pick up a £1,085 dividend if I keep until July 19 is that correct.

Totally with you salver I had big expectations for years here but London blew it. As I’ve said before if this had been a British company like Diageo this would be up with Aal price

Being bought out at a pe of less than 6 on next year’s earnings - the company is almost being stolen back at that price but then if the idiots in the city don’t ascribe a proper value to the shares there does not seem to be much other option for agarwal - the city never understood this one ebitda of nearly 4 billion quid and takeout value of 2.3 billion - need we say more!

Can’t blame them for this lowball bid.

The London institutions have essentially given up on trying to value the company properly.

They are too busy investing in Amazon.

Indeed holding the shares. l closed my CFD positions made over £6000 on those in no time so don't care for the dividend there. Luckily i'm going to cash in the ISA held the most there so chunk of the profit will be tax free :)
