Looking at the up-channel, the bottom is now around 102. I missed out at just sub 100 as i put my orders in too late and then the general markets kicked me in the balls again so i had to delete them. Still just watching and analysing.

A point of minor interest - I just calculated roughly that since January -
the GSK share price is down about 25% (ca. 1750 to 1320p)
the VEC share price is up about 10% (ca. 95 to 104p)

I hope this is a good indication of which way the wind is blowing.

Assuming final approval by the EMA for Exparel in Q4 2020, after the positve CHMP opinion in September 2020, then launch will occur in early 2021. I'd expect that to drive the global sales of Exparel above the $500 M level, particularly with the push in the US to move away from standard opiate treatments for post-operative pain. Q3 sales were reasonable for Exparel in the US, recovering from the Covid months where fewer surgical procedures were carried out - $113.7 M. In their announcement a few days back they also stated that September sales were $39.5 M. Annualise that for US sales and that $32 M sales milestone will appear in the VEC accounts at some point in the next 18 months, IMO.

On actual facts front rather than innuendo...

GSK just announced Q3 and the Ellipta range is up to over £2 Bn in sales for the year, over £1.1 Bn in the US alone. That is good news wrt the litigation with GSK on the existing royalty revenues from VEC/SKP legacy formulation IP. As long as VEC do not get the decision overturned then the $200 M total value is nailed on.

It is also interesting for the continuing development of the generic Ellipta series with Hikma. Anoro, Breo-Relvar and Trelegy are the products that need to be followed, making up well over 90 % of total US sales. US approval is a route to RoW approval and the other 40 - 45 % of total Ellipta series sales.

Advair is also holding up, with US sales still above £100 M for the Q and close to £400 M for the ytd. That means Hikma/VEC still have a reasonable market opportunity assuming the minor response letter from FDA is addressed.

There are people in the know that suggest VEC will be trading around £2 in 2021 and double that over the next 5 years.
