Mark

I have already said i will be glad as long as the debt is cleared.
Just means that when the diamond money does come. It has a very good chance some of that money will be returned to shareholders through a divi. That is the reason i see they are giving out "5 valueless Deferred Share", When the consolidation comes. All we dont know is how many shares will come after they announce the consolidation. But i am sure you and the other trolls already know.

Massive buy volume today compared to the sell volume. That is if you believe it to be true.
Maybe the trolls will call it forward selling of the some of the placing shares. that they have not got the right or the permission yet. I do find the old trolls funny though, as they will say there is no forward selling when a placing is announced, up until the day of the placing. But they will claim all these buys are placing shares that have yet to be even confirmed to be taking place. Funny how they also claim no one is interested in buying vast shares. lol.

"So you can see that this debt is hanging over vast, and having a massive effect on the Market cap."

I have noticed that too.

So looking at the revenue vast have at this moment,$3.72m. Normally you would expect a company to be valued on its revenue not profit. So lets work on just double the revenue. As i have no idea what a premium you would put on a small cap miner. so lets call it $7.44m, so £6m yet the m/c is just £3.9m. So you can see that this debt is hanging over vast, and having a massive effect on the Market cap.

Now before the trolls post that its not revenue that puts a value on a company. it is.
The fact that most AIM companies dont even get to making a revenue, yet they can have a market cap of tens of millions, if not a billion pound market cap. Vast have another asset in Romania, Manaila. That has a jorc on it for many millions of tons of ore.
That on its own, and still in the ground, would have a value of many million pounds, alone. not to mention the income from the Tajikistan assets. So its clear that the assets not including BP would be valued at more than the market cap today. So you can see how this uncertainty regarding the debt is massively holding the Market cap down.
But until it is sorted we will not know by exactly how much.

The Directors would like to stress that the authority is required in order to give comfort to the Creditors. With the near term prospect of receipt of the historic parcel and the benefit of current discussions with the owner of the Swiss investment company, and also with the expected rise of the Company's share price in the light of these developments, it is not expected that a material proportion of the requested authorities will be required in practice, or if required not at prices similar to the current share price.

This is the first time they have ever said this, "also with the expected rise of the Company's share price in the light of these developments". As i have indicated before, Once this debt is sorted the share price WILL rise on this news alone. Then the share price will be free to rise on its merits. If you are, of a nervous disposition, please dont buy in. we have enough get rich quick trolls on here, that lost and cant take that investing is not about just being a winner. Then looking to blame anyone but themselves.

You see as you can see there are two points of view.
Yet you point out the facts that you see posted in a RNS.
The opposite side is posted by lonely people looking for attention. Or exholders that hate the company as they have lost money they could not afford to lose. Or in doggys case a exemlpoyee that has a hatred for the company.
I am not happy with the share price But i see that the company has to do what it has to do.
I hope people have learnt one thing from posting on here for so long. It's never been cheap to get a mine up and running, even one that has been up and running before.

Asi have said before, i dont see mercuria calling in their debt. They have already agreed to a new repayment package. They are getting more and more concentrate every delivery. So will be making money from that, plus getting their debt paid off. They also have the option to buy up to 20% of the shares in vast now for under £1m. Now why would they do that. Well if they were to get hold of 20% of vast. it would put them in a very strong position to keep hold of the BP contract. Also the manaila contract when it comes back on line. With copper soon to be very difficult to get hold of soon. It would make sense to have a foot in the door of a growing miner.

Dont forget that Mercuria were at one stage looking to loan vast another $5m, six years ago. They now owe Mercuria about $4m 0r about £3.2m. So not a lot in the grand plan for them.

" Whilst it is appreciated that there has been a considerable period of time since the delivery of the historic parcel was first expected, the Company has good reason to believe that finalisation of the delivery of the parcel can still be finalised in the close future. "

"Value at this level". Hilarious mate. There's an at least 80% discounted placing coming. And probably then some. You are about to get mugged again.

"The Directors therefore propose that authority from Shareholders be requested to issue, up to a nominal value of £8,400,000 of share capital (equivalent to 8,400,000,000 Existing Ordinary Shares) (Resolutions 1 and 2), which if issued at par value for each New Ordinary Shares would raise £8.4million, or approximately US$10.5 million - sufficient to repay the Creditors and provide the necessary working capital together with a small additional margin.."
