So over $9 million to be raised after consolidation to pay off creditors, then at least $1m more for working capital. That's more than $10 million in total. Prospective Funders know vast is at a precarious position and desperate to pay off debt therefore what price will they settle to achieve that level of funding?Big discount imo as happened at HE1.AP is only happy to keep his gravy train moving and has no interest in making you money.

DexdringleNot sure how many times you need to be informed by the company. That its the Zimbabwe government that wants a news blackout about these diamonds. If you don't believe what you are told. Why would you believe any other news.

So doggy starts a thread up that no one apart from doggy posts on. But even he posts more here. Now why would that be. I could help him out, all I would have to do is post on there. He may ban me for not having what he would call right think. But I very much doubt if he would do that as he likes attention. Without people like me and other holder posting over there, that thread will very soon die . So anyone that posts hate towards holders and the company, do doggy a favour and post on his thread, only to help him not feel that he is alone.

Before or after the consolidationBefore or after the placing to pay debt Before of after the placing to cover their 1m a month cash burn not covered by production

They don't have anything to update. Didn't the bank need to write a new policy that would then need approvals at multiple levels before stones released. That's if the stones are actually there (no update) are the original ones (no update) the court ordered them released a year ago so the bank have not so the courts judgement is worthless in reality. If the stones are released now they pay the debt or they can just dilute the stock and do a massive placing paid for by mug punters to cover the debt.

Given that the recovery of the package of diamonds is critical, I would have thought that VERY regular updates on that from the company would be in order as a very minimum ?

You don't find the fact that I predicted the wording in the RNS disturbing? They have done this on so many occasions now.

"They know the diamonds are close and that is why they are happy to extend the debt repayments."

No they are not , they want their money. They don't want stories about diamonds or property in Romania.

You will see from the header that I predicted the use of words. It's what they do.

One thing I’ll say that volume is not to be ignored … you know what’s coming ;)

Announcement of an EGM and permission to issue more shares (just in case , but they probably won't need to)?

“Vast has received an offer from the Nikash Group to purchase PGM concentrate containing on average 15% platinum plus other payable materials and which is being marketed as a platinum concentrate.”

RNSs need to be read in many ways.

Is this concentrate containing minimum 15% platinum, plus other payable materials?
Or is it concentrate containing minimum 15% platinum plus other payable materials?

I could market my cats litter tray as “platinum concentrate” if it contained 15% copper and no platinum.

The consolidation demonstrates lack of confidence in the share price rising above nominal any time soon.

Indicated a firm interest. So nothing concrete then. Clutching at straws.

" Subject to the completion of the first sale under the Platinum Group Metals Agreement the owner of the Swiss investment Company owning the high grade PGM concentrate has indicated a firm interest in providing major restructuring finance to the Company, partly through debt and partly through equity to be issued at a higher price than the current share price."

"in order to show good faith towards repayment of the Creditors and to provide a possible solution to the Company in the unlikely event of enforcement of security in favour of the Creditors, the Company has agreed with the Creditors to request Shareholders for such additional authority to issue shares as will, at a margin to the current share price, enable the Company to raise up to US$9.4 million so that the Creditors can be repaid in full. The share dilution is not a given.....last resort to appease the creditors...while they work on the return of the diamonds or maybe a restructuring deal involving the swiss who are interested on doing a finance deal depending that the first delivery goes ahead at the end of the month.....cat and mouse going on.....all still to play for in my opinion....the situation is still fluid....

GF has stated that BP is profitable, and harked that much progress has been made. He has implied that profits will be used to pay off the company debts. He has also opined that he thinks the new deferred shares will be created to benefit from a dividend, presumably also from the magnificent profits being generated at BP, and elsewhere in the VAST portfolio. However, as has been proven many times over in the last many months, GF is illiterate in reading this company.

If BP was one of the projects I was looking after I would looking at analysing the return on investment going forward.

Just looking back for a moment, the facility had all large infrastructure in place but a lot of items needed to be repaired and some items replaced. the mine has now been in operation for over three years. It was supposed to start generating free cash flow after the first year. Plan was labour intensive but was reworked to become a mechanised mine plan. The majority of equipment been in place for nearly two years now and was supposed to increase production significantly. This hasn't happened. Millions have been spent on the mine above original and revised forecasts to get mine to name plate capacity of 14,000 tonnes per month. A year later on and still not hitting name plate capacity and not enough money generated for development work. Every target to date missed.

As investors/owners of the mine (well I only own about 100,000-200,000 shares, different trading account to 99% sold this morning) we should be kept updated on what this additional funds raised will actually achieve. With a market cap of just under £4m are we not better off letting the creditors take over the mine as its not generating any cash for investors!

Vast have other interests which can generate money going forward and probably worth the current market cap alone.

In addition there is the parcel of diamonds which could potentially return multiples of current market cap.

The potential mass dilution would reduce any returns toshareholders. Is this actually in shareholders interest? Is it the case BP mine will not generate any free cash until substantial further investment. Clarification is needed. Is it the case shareholders are being sacrificed to protect the third party real estate?

I can understand BoD wish to continue with BP but only if it's in the interests of shareholders to do so. Not sure if they have been working in our interest these past 12 months.
