I sold out of bids ages ago. We both did at a decent profit and have not looked back for nearly 2 years since.

This really is excellent news but not unexpected, and more excellent news to follow shortly.

What I am saying is mercuria are owed about $4m so if they have no off take agreement anymore they would want their debt settled.I find it interesting that the new off take agreement is just that not finance off take agreement. So they must have the diamonds or this new finance agreed with the Swiss. I very much doubt if they would have walked away from mercuria without nowing they have the money to repay them.As for a placing to pay them. Can't see that, as they would not get that amount away. Imo.

Must be very close to having these diamonds returned after this news. In fact if I was AP I would not take what I am told from the Zimbabwe government as fact and report that I have been told the diamonds would be released on such a date. I would wait till I had them in my hands, then report it.

So a new off take agreement with trafiguru.New partnership agreements been signed. Ramping up production at BP. Along with upgrading the historical resources to Jorc compliant. Along with more exploration going on at BP. Yet some think vast are going to the wall. Lol.

1347: probably Trafigura will replace Mercuria as lender, as with Angus Energy. Mercuria seem to be getting out of these arrangements with dodgy piddling little AIM companies. The terms of replacement loans will merit close scrutiny, innit?

Yes, it does look like Mercuria have had enough of debt not being paid back. Could be a clue in recent agreement for repayment of debt in scheduled payments, 'Debt reduction payments to Mercuria of an initial US$100,000 paid out of the next concentrate sale and US$50,000 from each concentrate sale made thereafter from Baita Plai'

I thought it would have been Alpha pushing for repayment of debt but it could well be Mercuria wanting full repayment.

Mercuria want out, offtake agreement is now with Trafigura, it means Mercuria don't have the incentive now not to execute default action. it will be spun as good news of course by the one with literal diarrhoea but it isn't, it really isn't.

Sounds like the previous deal was a fixed price deal, 'The New Offtake agreement pricing terms are in accordance with market practice, with adjustments for the grade of material delivered, and at a small discount to the LME cash settlement quotation averaged over an agreed period for copper, silver and gold to ensure competitive pricing.'

Should help with increasing revenue going forward provided copper prices stay high. I personally expect them to increase but short term shocks to world economy can spring a few surprises as seen in past 4 years.

So I am surprised that vast have changed their off take partner. It just goes to show things are moving behind the scenes.
