Credit cards working through a bad debt writeoff timeline. It would have been better if they bit the bullet and wrote all aged receivables down as unrecoverable a year ago, then there would some visible up side by now.

Maybe but moneybarn has 400k of customer on the site depends if this commission thing happens and with interest and what the commission is per claim.

They do need to sort this company out though how they are not raking the money in is beyond me , that 700m should be making 30m to 60m on its own if invested correctly.
How any credit card company is not able to make a fortune it is like having a licence to print money.

Not the same story! It's overreaction in here! Vanq mostly credit card business . However there is small amount car finance, which suggests compensation 30m maximum, group already set aside money . Sorted

Because people have linked vanq and cbg in the same pool both with 400k+ of customer that might be liable for for full refunds of commission's and interest going back unknown amount years, 1 makes money but has the dca contracts. The other made losses.
Unless these contracts state the commission very clearly both could be in for hundreds of millions of refunds unless it thrown out at the supreme court.

I do wonder if it was possible to start winding both down premium finance and moneybarn. no idea if that was even possible
