Wot, down from 1p horse, I guess never say never if you think that is relevant to mention. Personally cant see that dividends are the end game for the bunch of traders milling around 50p and above.

SP now above the long term oblique resistance and finally showing signs of life.
Hasn't been above the 8ema for circa 23 trading days, but looks good to close above today.
That would signal a buy and hopefully the start of a turn-around and a big bounce.

Volume required to break out and hold above this oblique resistance, which is holding the share price down.
I have 50.7 as the low and then hopefully a news backed reversal, is forthcoming. Wouldn’t that be a coincidence?

Well a big thanx to Jubber once again and of course what he says could of course happen anything is possible but I like to look at the probable and fact. A very low MC a huge discount to Nav high institutional investment high and adding what ever stock they can broker views a lot higher than where we are a recent push to over 65p. A new management cutting costs trying to build a better customer base with reasonable rates for it’s clients using technology to deal with complaints using legal means to deal with nonsense claims companies while making headway with the FSA. Obviously all this takes a while but some big hitters certainly think there on the way to doing that.

Thanks but no thanks

My take is that is a share for the brave

Dividend is nothing to write home about and very few risk takers about who will be willing to stand up and take the risks that I think are apparent.

I can see this dropping as low as the 20 s which is why I will get the blandishments from the die hard believers but is far too risky for a yellow backed dividend hunter such as myself.

Good luck to those brave enough to dabble but a big NONO from me.

will try not to pass anymore comment

All the best

sp has been knocking up against an oblique resistance, for about 13 trading days.
A bit of buying volume needed, to get across the line.

In your view it wasn’t a big trade sell and you base that on nobody would dump that amount of stock at the lowest price of the day is that what your saying!

Indeed it does, hence why it won't be at the lowest price of the day. Which is the point I'm making.

I don’t really think you understand how this all works or the point I’m making do you believe a large seller just plonks the stock on the market and gets price x for it all? If the seller is wishing to offload an above average volume it has to be a worked trade you can’t just dump it in this type of stock.

Of course, any large holder can go to the market makers and say, "I have a large block of stock to shift, get me the lowest price you can in the end of day auction".

If they were stupid.

Davius not being argumentative but of course it was a big sell volume indicates that and it was probably a worked trade over a number of days the heavy fall was a culmination of that but was clearly trending lower. Obviously certain parties can bank healthy profits while keeping a lid on the price makes sense especially if you are aware things might be improving.

The uncrossing traded is a combination of all the buys and sells in the end of day auction. There's no indication of "a big sell".

In fact where a share is primarily controlled by market makers, a falling price followed by a large uncrossing trade may indicate a buyer.

When a market maker receives a large buy order, they drop the price in order to try and encourage selling. And if they have a sell order they rise the price to try and encourage buying.
