Hi,
Having worked with Van Elle, I wouldn’t go near then as an investment.

They have good kit but other contractors have kit equally as good for 90% of pilling carried out in the UK; the other 10% specialist niche pilling works are too low volume in the UK market.

Van Elle will need to be sub contracting on the next big infrastructure OLE works if they intend to make any decent profit from the UK rail sector; although as they only ever subcontract on such schemes their profit potential is reduced.

Foundations installed for the replacement of an aged water supply tank at Bedford TPD by Van Elle. - March 2020

The Bedford TPD Water Tank installation is to replace an existing outdated vertical structure, the purpose of the water tank is to provide a clean water supply for the refill of the 100’s of trains that are stabled prior to running out of the sidings within the TPD.

The project had a short duration and due to the location of the works within a working railway siding on the Bletchley lines was challenging but managed very well by the VE site team in conjunction with the PC.

Van Elle delivers bespoke, efficient foundation package for pioneering modular home development in Lancashire - April 2020

Although modular home development is a relatively new method for residential housebuilding in the UK, the sector is seeing healthy growth and will become a key area as demand and supply of housing increases. The method of construction allows savings to be made on-site by reducing the amount of time to erect the building, however it means foundation solutions have to evolve to facilitate this way of construction.

Working with main contractor Engie and award-winning modular home manufacturer ILKE homes we developed a foundation package that enabled efficient and effective construction on site for the housebuilder. The development at Victory Road, Bolton comprises of 22 new modular-built homes manufactured in sections in a factory before being shipped to site and assembled....

Everytime something like this happens a bit of jobs cutting is pruden, the balance sheet gets in better shape and the job gets done, let say less people to chat with, more time to work.”

This has been going on for years now and with every update /change comes another business warning / another next period will be better. Unfortunately RSI you appear to be blind to what is happening and I only hope that you don’t lose to much as you orange tinted glasses can see no wrong. I truly hope you either wake up fast or there is a miraculous turnaround in VEs fortunes

RSI - you are clearly unstable, rude, obnoxious and paranoid all while not listening to anything better informed people are telling you.
I believe you would do very well working at Van Elle.
As mentioned, the three directors leaving Van Elle are not leaving due to ‘streamlining’. They are leaving because each of them stood up to the CEO and unfortunately in that scenario there is only going to be one winner.
Now, I am not going to continue a petty squabble with someone who clearly knows nothing of the soap opera that is Van Elle, or their industry counterparts.
I will say it again, in 18 months I very much doubt VE will be in business. Drastic action needs to be taken to remove the CEO NOW if they have any chance of survival.

re - 3 directors leaving

They may ask you to comeback with 50% salary cut
Not likely a good stremlining is necessary from time to time and any company goes forward in a better footing.

Everytime something like this happens a bit of jobs cutting is pruden, the balance sheet gets in better shape and the job gets done, let say less people to chat with, more time to work.

Master RSI do you actually think I have more than one log in on here. I genuinely don’t. It’s just me looking after my interests. Have you thought that I may check in here when things start happening at VE you know like 3 directors leaving and the rumours surrounding that?

1 - Howmany of the "nicknames" are Yours being the first to be a member?
2 - You never came clear why you lost your job or why you are posting here, as is obvious you are not a shareholder, but a " pain in the @rse " in this thread by now.

note - too clever to your games

Wow! That’s unreal do you do conspiracy theories in your spare time. I can only comment on what i know of a company my employer has dealt with for many many years and I find it rather sad that despite the facts you choose to ignore them. I brought in as I believed them to be a good investment and it is very sad that the company has changed drastically. I joined this so I could get more of an insight from people outside of the industry as most people in construction listen to the same grapevine and yet have come under attack for my timing of joining the group. I didn’t realise that people on these pages could be so vile and judgemental to others.

Your dirty work on this thread against the company deserve
this and more like .....

Note - I am a shareholder since recently, so I do not like the same nasties around since a new management is now in charge and should be given a chance.

Master RSI firstly please don’t refer to me a maggot. It’s offensive and inaccurate. I have a board level role on a construction company and your comments are at best vile. You appear to suffer greatly from paranoia. Facts are facts.... please learn to accept them graciously and not like a complete (choose a word that fits).

What I see buyers are returning and MMs paying 32p for sells, bid at 30p

Most builders on the rise, why not this one then even if is on the selling price, after all there is large spread and the last buyer paid full offer 34p.

It’s almost like the current shareholders do t want to believe what is happening. Seeing so many negative comments and thinking it is purely a vendetta rather than a warning from those that can see what’s coming

Couldn't be more accurate, it was a great company with loyal employees and great stream of regular clients. You lose that you slowly lose everything

I don’t care what people think.
This is my only account here, and from what I remember, everything that I’ve posted has also been factual.
Van Elle is a circus, and can be compared to a car crash. You can’t help but look knowing no good will come of it.
Master RSI, for whatever reason, is trying to deflect (much deserved) criticism from VE.
Here’s another nugget for you, if the CEO continues on this path there won’t be a VE in 18 months time. FACT.
They couldn’t be further away from securing HS2 contracts. FACT.
They are losing experienced members of the team monthly. FACT. The team, both management and ground workers, have had enough and the market is swamped with VE CV’s. FACT. There Share price is almost a THIRD of what it once was. FACT.
Look forward to hearing your views on that RSI, that is if you can type while hanging off Mark Cutlers scrotum.

Wow I get dragged in by default 😂😂😂
I’ve been quiet because i got rid for most of my shares in VE a couple of months back. Lots of rumours heard due to working within the industry for many years and none of which repeated on here and all comments factual. Unfortunately it is factual that despite VE having a previously low turnover of management staff especially it is now the opposite and some good skills are being lost. My employers have used VE as a sub contractor on many projects hence why I invested they had a good name and appeared a very sound company, however, maybe the issue is with the CEO and not the managers beneath him. The firm I work for no longer deals with VE much as they started to hear comments and grumbling from site lads upwards.
