13/8/2018 14:48 | Lammylover, k he would have that effect but expect to see the kitchen sink thrown into the next set of figures as per usual when a new CEO comes into a "troubled business" Could see it taking 12 mths to get back into 90's. Hopefully I'm too pessimistic!! | dahhad
13/8/2018 13:04 | New, permanent CEO starts today - good news as originally his start date was as late as October 2018. Hopefully he can provide a safe pair of hands, provide clear direction; get troops fired up and get us back on track for 120p plus! | lammylover
02/8/2018 16:02 | Good work in buying ThorpeMatt! I reckon these shares are easily worth north of a pound. Lets see what the new CEO brings! Just need to be a bit more proactive with news on contract wins and it should fly.. | lammylover
02/8/2018 12:14 | Well I am pleased to say that I eventually managed to buy in at my targeted average price. I kinddof figured that this is way undervalued and that 80p was a good support level so more upside than down. It's a tad illiquied this one, with only half the stock in frre float and a fairly wide spread. (i don't usually go past 3%). But the seriuolsy low forward PEG and very modest fPER cannot be justified given the company's position and track record. So I am gonna sit here taking a divi until Mr Market cottons on. | thorpematt
26/7/2018 22:27 | Increasingly companies having to build on old sites, on made up ground that requires specialist foundations. I like VAN's solutions, which will be cost effective for the client | jimarilo
25/7/2018 08:56 | Increase in dividend not to be sniffed at. | keyno
25/7/2018 07:43 | FY Solid performance and profit £9.2m as expected with slight impact due to Carillion failure. Like the investment in more rigs - just needs new CEO to galvanise troops and drive more profitable business. Have the right equipment and expertise in specialist field, so shouldn't be that difficult...surely? Underlying figures solid enough and share looks cheap at P/E 7.7% and FY Dividend 4.56% - have added some more at 81p. gla Rich | lammylover
25/7/2018 07:35 | Stuck in the mud for now. New CEO might breathe some life. | redartbmud
25/7/2018 06:39 | @ jhan66 - I thought the results were pretty encouraging, too. I don't hold and aren't buying anything for the time being, but this looks to have solid prospects from here. @ gutterhead - the rules for communicating via RNS are that it's not necessary to tell the market if there is no change in a circumstance. In fact, I think companies which exhibit RNS fever feel insecure, or want to give a false impression of dynamism! | jonwig
25/7/2018 06:29 | I’ll buy this morning if the price doesn’t run away from me | jhan66
25/7/2018 06:27 | Finals out. Nothing very exciting is there! Cautiously optimistic is about as tantalising as they can muster. Yawn.. | dplewis1
20/7/2018 08:29 | I have emailed the chairman a moment ago | gutterhead
20/7/2018 08:03 | I tend to agree, I think the management behaviour/communicat you would think the interim guy would have stepped up and at least sent some words of reassurance for employees and shareholders alike. trading ok? new ceo appointment still on track? this company shares hit 140p and have slowly languished over last 18 months, surely a case for communicating to all. if I can track the interim CEO down today, I will ask some questions and let all know | gutterhead
10/7/2018 13:10 | Mboy101, purely subjective but I didn't think that the May update was positive and I think the second half will have been very difficult. That coupled with the downward drift in the share price doesn't fill me with confidence. | dahhad
10/7/2018 09:25 | Based upon? | mboy010
10/7/2018 09:20 | Looks like the trading update will be the communication and I don't think that it will be good! | dahhad
06/7/2018 10:44 | in this time without a permanent ceo and general uncertainty, you'd think this company would be making an effort to let its owners (us) know what is going on. shockingly bad communication | gutterhead
21/6/2018 10:02 | Couldn't buy before it went into Auction or now afterwards. MMs have walked price down to get shares, but don't have any to sell!!! | lammylover
21/6/2018 09:50 | Cant get price now, MMs have no shares. They are holding 83/80 spread in hope other mugs will of load shares cheaply believing something bad is about to happen. Bet this recovers by end of the day. Rich | lammylover
21/6/2018 09:45 | To quote Status Quo - "Down down, deeper and down" 70p here we come | jwball
21/6/2018 09:44 | You are right, 82.9p offered now! Have you seen the large buys going through at 83p though. Price walked down by MMs for a reason. Buying Opportunity for those in the know.. | lammylover
21/6/2018 09:37 | Lammylover, The way it's going, you will be able to buy at 83p!! Can't convince myself to average down yet! | dahhad
21/6/2018 08:40 | Someone has just bought 10k shares at 83p. I can only get quoted to buy at 83.96p. Good prices for mates, not us mere mortal PIs!! | lammylover
21/6/2018 08:36 | MMs shaking the price about to get some cheap shares and make some commission. Will bounce back to 95p soon imo. Buying opportunity. Rich | lammylover
21/6/2018 08:26 | dahhad - So true - Breaking down - MM's marching down to 81p paid for a measly 8K shares - Could 76p be the new target resistance level? | pugugly |
