Calgary, January 8, 2020: Valeura Energy Inc. (TSX:VLE, LSE:VLU) ("Valeura" or the "Company"), the upstream natural gas producer focused on appraising and developing an unconventional gas accumulation play in the Thrace Basin of Turkey, announces the appointment of Heather Campbell as Chief Financial Officer and Tim Chapman as an independent director.

Ms. Campbell has over 20 years of finance experience, with a focus on international exploration and production companies. Mr. Chapman has more than 30 years' experience in international capital markets.

Tim Marchant, Chairman of the Board commented:

Well price has rebounded over in Canada, back to 55c so may see a mini reversal tomorrow on AIM as well
Don't know whether the same MM codes work in Canada but there was a 1 trade in the last half an hour so who knows might well see something in the morning if you believe in that sort of thing

Their assets are over on the Greece border so unlikely to be caught up in any conflict and gas /oil prices will move upwards on any war but if weaker again tomorrow will keep on adding

TSX down by 9% today to 51c, not a good start to the new year, shows that there is little confidence in Canada, what news has to come from the company to steady the ship as currently business has zero value attributed to the operating company which is profitable. Very strange but took advantage and topped up again today

no, it was already down almost 8% at the close in Canada yesterday, so playing catchup today

$ 0.59-0.05 | -7.81%

Oil companies are generally up today 1-2% on the rocketing oilprice due to M.E. news

RDSB, BP. or investments trusts like BERI are a safer bet (and pay 5%+ dividend yields too)

Not so good today, probably linked poss to USA action overnight in the Middle East and the weaker TSX price so added 20k on the weakness

Annoying is it not when the MMs don't show trades over a certain size in a timely manner, bought 20k at 8am and not showing nearly an hour later, is that common for this stock? All of my purchases bar the one have been delayed and marked down as sells

PHE finally could be the year that it really does blossom and shoe it's full potential. The deal TK squire W2T and progress with 11 new projects with Peel Holdings really is the opportunity to establish a major business Just the 11 deals for plants with Peel should lead to annual recurring Italy's revenue of £5.5 million easily enough to suggest a £100 mil company so with circa 3.3 bil shares on merger this should be heading for 3p currently 0.55p
