Beyond me why folk sell at this point, the party is just starting. Reckon some may be just raising cash to make a quick quid in ukog or something. Some got stung there, paid 2.9p yesterday and dropped to 2.05p this morning. Probably trying to catch it on the way up again.

Hopefully the tanker will arrive and be loaded ASAP.

There is an 18% difference in the price of crude oil from today and 3 months previous. Any delays will erode this delta - as the crude price strongly increased after the 11th April.

This difference in crude price is important as the tax calculation is done on the price 90days prior to shipping. Obviously the lower the crude price at time of tax calc the lower the amount of tax that needs to be paid and the greater the profit!

it could be docked already. we know that there will be two shipments and date of first one is provided so we all know what's happening. we know that we are getting approx $12 million for it (less costs and loan repayment) there's no new news here at the no just sat waiting for drill results and any of news or news of new licenses. as I mentioned before Urals only appear to put out RNS once all work/tanker loading complete etc

Let’s hope Donald’s tweet yesterday doesn’t put downward pressure on POO.

Looks like it’s backfired though as state dept said that Saudis didn’t actually say they would increase production by 2m barrels, just that they had capacity. There have been quite a few outages across multiple countries in the last week which should hopefully maintain price or even see an increase.

The results were better then I had anticipated given that the RNS on the 4th May warned of a lower EBITA and dividend. So it is good that we have actually achieved more or less the same EBITA in 2017 as in 2016 and the dividend payment will again be 6.2 cents.

A bit concerning that the various weather and mobilisation delays at South Dagi mean we are only at 700 meters out of a target of 2200 meters. Hopefully there will be no more delays to push this back. It is encouraging to get confirmation that the workover well produced OIL volumes of 225 barrels per day (although an update on this to confirm continued high production or drop off would have been good).

I get the feeling that a JV isn't long from being announced and there is a lot going on behind the scenes.

The completion of the Blackwatch Petroleum Services Competent Person's Report was an important step in our preparations and this has confirmed our total Remaining Proven and Probable Reserves at 107.0 million bbls as at 31 December 2017. This exercise has been thorough, and assisted us in upgrading our data rooms. Brandon Hill were appointed in May 2018 to assist us in identifying partners for these developments. With this substantial reserve base, we have the potential to increase our production substantially in partnership with oil service companies. We will update the market as discussions develop.

It doesn't look like the tax changes will have an effect on Ural's for the foreseeable future as only the larger companies are in scope for the initial trial but good to see that management have commented and will assess impact and are ready to adopt the best strategy to benefit going forward.

New licenses and fracking to significantly raise reserves and daily production still in scope at Arcticneft.

All in all a much more positive set of results then I was expecting - surprised there hasn't been any buying off the back of these but I guess this will come later on confirmation of tanker shipment and revenue announcement and completion of drill end of july and hopefully JV announcement sooner rather then later!!

All the action at UKOG folks. David Lenigas bought £500K worth yesterday (I'm sure he's privy to info). UKOG went from 1p-11p last year.

UKOG last time went into double-digits and that was on a drill. This is flow rates for 'the one'

The company are obligated to release their year end results by the end of June, if they choose to release them during the last viable day, being today, I can't see what the problem is. Why is that mistreating shareholders? Last year they released them a week or so early, this year not. What's the big deal. If there is nothing by the end of today then I will start worrying. Chill out guys, it's really no big deal.
