Reckon they will. They have been careful enough going stead so they don't do the usual.
Let's face it you could near enough have done it with a Black & Decker drill by now!!

I think if they have another one those types of RNS gaffer; it will also have to include an announcement on the resignation of directors.

There have been too many drilling failures with the in-house team, if they fail again they can’t in good conscience stay in their roles. I personally will be voting them out at the earliest opportunity.

Hopefully this time we get good flow rates on the newly drilled well and good news on the workovers of old wells.

We will know in the next month so not long to wait!

Darren, yes but nowhere near as much as before. I find UEN is more of a 'trader' than a 'keeper'. As I've mentioned before, every piece of good news is followed by no news or bad news. We all know this should be valued a lot higher but they still can't seem to get it together, and I've followed these for 10 years now! I now follow the trend instead of holding and hoping. 2018 could be the year though Rodney!

That’s true for the moment. But by the end of the year we should be sitting on a cash pile worth roughly the market cap.

I don't think having to borrow money to pay the bills counts as a strong cash position. Almost 6 months to drill 2200m, I fear the dreaded 'encountered difficult conditions' RNS

Also, what gets me excited is the comments from Andrew Shrager in the same RNS where he states:”we are continuing to work on possible acquisitions”. He would only say this if he believed we were in a very strong cash position and also with a possible JV and this policy of expansion, this can’t stay at £12mil mcap for long.

So with that increase mitigating the decrease at Petrosakh it gives no reason for the price to have decreased 20% on that news. Also, anyone know the flow rates of the previous wells at south Dagi?

Sounds like it Bangers. Missed that bit. It's their usual vague down beat bit of reporting that folk miss things. First we have heard about the acquired additional equipment. If they crack on we will get increase in production early I would think.

that's my take from it b&c - we should be getting an update in the next few weeks with drill results from the new well, hopefully they also provide some good news on the workover of the old wells at the same time

“In order to speed up the development of South Dagi, the Board has decided to order the work over of three of the original wells on the licence, with additional equipment acquired on Sakhalin Island. This will assist in mitigating against the decline at Petrosakh and thus increase throughput at the Company's refinery.“
This was in the shareholder about a month ago.
Does this mean that they are in fact going to be re-using the old wells in South Dagi and by the wording it sounds like this increase in production will come into effect quite soon. Thoughts anyone?

Not a great day so far, I added another ~1650 first thing, had hoped that we would kick on after the long weekend. Further funds not available until Friday week, if it stays in this region i'll be adding then as well.

Given the amount of buys over the last few months I would've expected this to be much higher - possibly the main investor is selling down their stake or allowing their shares to be loaned out to short - anyone aware of a site that will allow you to check if shorts are open on a company (reasonably certain one exists)?

Almost in June, they can’t be much longer!

I’m hoping they got the loan RNS outta the way so we just have good news flow from here on in!

Results by end of the month as well.

Still remains tight tho. 95-100p. Closed at 99p according to LSE.
Not a bad day considering all the sells. 42k sells to 20k buys. They may be loading up ready for news. All good I hope.

2,245 buy after the bell@99p. Trade showing has UT. What's that anyone?

I had a Buy order in at 104 which wasn't getting filled so cancelled it glad I did now will see where this is next week now

The 10k looks like a sell at a quid. Deal done at 2.12pm.
I must say they do seem to be taking shares in quantity at a reasonable price without dropping the share price too much. Mmmm

I doubt it can tank much further - these are almost historic lows - even though the legacy issues are resolved and we are still pumping oil and have two tanker shipments in the next 5 months, each with a load that is more than the current MCAP!

If it is a success then let's hope they can be upbeat about it rather than almost apolagetic as usual. Never known a company like it for downbeat rns.
