29/6/2018 04:53 | There is a lot for the bulls in that podcast stark...the more you listen to it...the more you learn :-) | doughty
28/6/2018 23:50 | If anyone has not heard the pod cast with Steve Staley dated March 2017 (see above link) I suggest you all take time out and listen to Steve how he mentions many a time that he is out to make his investors and share holders rich. I totally trust Steve that UPL will be a monster. Buy as many as you can if you have any spare money as once the herd start latching on then you will not be able to buy qty GL | stark industries
28/6/2018 22:35 | I see that 10 trade to end the day Maybe 10p on the cards soonish ? | stark industries

27/6/2018 14:46 | July is going to be good to us...lets see where we are this time next month :-))))... Petronas apart...I expect Petros to put their long anticipated cards on the table come the 1st and make their intentions clear. I can't help feeling that the BoD will want to ramp things up with some North Africa news too...to get some value into the company...some borrowing clout for the money that we are almost certainly going to need going forward. We may see the Wick rig contract announced...never forget how BIG Wick could be...and that IS happening...I can see no reason why that will not happen in September ( or thereabouts because things are ALWAYS delayed ) as announced by the operator. So many reasons to be as fully invested as you can be here...blink and... | doughty
27/6/2018 14:22 | Tyler - exciting on several fronts as UPL enters a busy period. Sarawak is shaping up to be a long gravy train with many assets over many years imho. ‘Could’ be truly stunning. That aside, wick and North Africa offer very compelling attractions of their own. Edit - as we know North Africa not yet concluded but UPL state discussions are well advanced. | argyle underclap
27/6/2018 14:07 | Agree Argyle. I am sure a lot is going on behind the scenes in Malaysia at the top level even at night!Petronas could put in a blocker right at the last hour on Friday or be pragmatic and decide to work with theSarawak authorities.7 hours ahead so I expect if nothing has happened by 10am on Friday morning then we could have a very good blue day on Friday! 27/6/2018 13:35 | Note well. From the 13 April 2018 RNS... “Upland Resources Limited is pleased to announce that it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (the "MOU") with Brooke Dockyard and Engineering Works Corporation ("Brooke"), a Sarawak State entity, to jointly assess, explore for and develop hydrocarbon assets within the State of Sarawak, Malaysia. The Upland Board believes that considerable potential exists in Sarawak for further discoveries and for the reappraisal of existing fields.” UPL and Brooke are not looking for small potatoes. No new challenge as of writing has been made by Petronas. New licences to be dished out by Petros from 1st July 2018. So, anytime from next Monday. UPL and Brooke likely to be included. Capped at £18M, the impact on the UPL share price would likely be significant. | argyle underclap
27/6/2018 13:23 | ...we have contacts within Petronas btw...a foot in both camps ;-) | doughty
27/6/2018 13:19 | ....back to level for the day...a few more buys and 3.5p might seem cheap :-) | doughty
27/6/2018 11:13 | I think what the Assistant Minister was alluding to was the fact that going to High Court is not in anybody's interests. It is much better that Petronas worked within the new legislation than drag something out in the courts for possibly months. | tyler90
27/6/2018 10:45 | Have I misunderstood previous comments or is this your slip of the pen tburns? Reference to the High Court is to London, where the original 1963 agreement was made. | yogaboy
27/6/2018 10:43 | Dips being bought every time essy to see why | maverick247
27/6/2018 10:31 | Offer has moved back to 3.24, a bit a buying strength at 3ish it seems. | billyboychrisd
27/6/2018 09:53 | I have my 1M and happy with that with my other holdings, just being speculative and if it doesn't get filled the funds are already in TERN so win / win eitherway. GLA | tburns
27/6/2018 09:50 | tburns, agreed he cant, but him to make some public statements have to based on a degree of confidence or he would keep quiet. Anyway like Cash said Wick (any time from now) could literally take this to 30-40p in in instant if it comes in. Quite a risk really in order to get shares 0.2/0.3p cheaper. id rather load up and be ready. | thejaba
27/6/2018 09:42 | I am just putting it out there guys with no agenda, I hold 1M fully paid and happy with that. Order it at 2.9p. lets see if it gets filled, depends how many shares the MM want to shift. If anyone think that the Assistant Minister can influence the decision of the High Court then that is very surprising. Non of is know which way this will go an there is always 2 sides and to try and flout that is myopic imho. | tburns
27/6/2018 09:00 | tburns, There is some element of political risk attached to a Sarawak deal, but I'm confident they will achieve a good outcome. I make no bones about this, I believe in the longterm story with North Africa/Malaysia, but Wick is the compelling asset and certainly the asset that is most advanced towards drilling at this time. I have exposure via two companies of which UPL is the primary partner. The numbers will literally be company making if it comes in, there is good reason to believe chances will be high. 27/6/2018 08:51 | I think the Malaysian board members loading up with stock has to say something about their ambitions/confidence in Sarawak ? I will go with them...I invested in them...not in a bulletin board ! :-) | doughty
27/6/2018 08:30 | Lets see if you are glad on Monday. All the RNS's from the board have been positive around sarawak and our Malaysian board members will know what is going on better than most. | nlmbidc
27/6/2018 08:28 | Good luck with that..."substantial" North Africa news could land any day now. And in truth...none of us really know whats going on in Sarawak...in SS we must trust. Wick rig contract will ignite some proper interest I believe. | doughty
27/6/2018 07:57 | Thanks for the link Tyler and I think this is partly why we are stagnating at present with so much good news around, due to the uncertainty in Sarawak, Here is a link from the 19th June which gives a different slant and the decision will be down to the High Courts in Malaysia it seems as to whether Petronas gets control over the upstream O & G extraction and processes. The worry for me is if the Sarawak govt are using this primarily to get an increase in their Federal contribution from the existing 5% of royalties then maybe they don't care if Petronas control upstream as long as they get cash for State development, that would be my worry. Until then and any Wick update I can see the share being depressed and have reset my top up target to sub 3p, Glad my 3.50p order didn't get filled last week. | tburns
26/6/2018 09:56 | the 9m are broker to broker exchange. Those that took the placing via another broker. | parisv |
