Share price going up on very low volume.

Always a good sign.

Yes, Stark, they are adamant that they want things to run smoothly as possible and will not make it difficult for Petronas which is the sensible approach. All good vibes from the weekend :-)

The npv value I am using is specific to the wick well from February 2018.

you may be able to find the link on this bb if you go back to Feb.

do you mean CPR reports or various geologists?

It should depend on the location / country in question

Exactly in what context are you using the $7.50 Npv value - is this in the ground value - a 1P value or 2C value

The NPv value would extract after using a discount rate - capex etc

Think Optiva are using an IGV for the location Wick well is in
You can use various Npv per barrel values - even ultra conservative of $1 IGV for deep offshore West Africa wells - however it would be done to the Independant CPR values to read & see exactly what they place as the NPV

For example i3E, 11mmbls appraisal field is valued at $328m or $29 Npv/Barrel

"Independent valuers use $7.5 dollars for the npv figure"

The bottom line is :Can you make money at the current share price ?I can see a minimum natural uplift to 10p and beyond in the weeks ahead prior to Wick drill and I am not counting any else inGL

Independent valuers use $7.5 dollars for the npv figure.

Perhaps this is another example of why 9 out of 10 Broker Note valuations are never met.

Nlm, you are using the incorrect $per barrel value - Optiva uses $14.50, that's why you are not getting to 63p npv/share

All exploration well drilling is high risk - have to ask yourself the type of investor you are - high risk / very high risk - low risk with little capital to lose - if so you may be much better off in investing in FT100 - 250 co's & not High risk Aim Explorers

Forgivable for someone just starting to look at this company. Unforgivable for someone trying to be an authority putting a blog out there, commenting on twitter or a BB. IMO :)

For the record people I do believe Henry is referring to The article incorrectly presenting UPL as an AIM stock. UPL is listed on the main market.

Can't believe that article hasn't been edited to remove a glaring mistake in it.

As you say there is much more than Wick to come.
