As per my previous comments why only one week when they had a full month. Even more important why name someone who is real and alive. The danger is that this person can come forward and deny they have made any such approach.

The fake RNS could have caused serious financial damage to William Bollinger if he were involved in business ventures elsewhere. What if he were trying to secure a bank loan and the bank read he was about to spend £167 million on an oil/gas venture.

Had UPL used a fake name like the fake RNS they could have stretched this out until 23/11/2023 and claimed no formal offer has been received.

Even JakNife has now backed down from the allegation that the BOD were deliberately involved and blames them for incompetence and negligence.

PWhite the BoD have been shown to be liars (by ommision or otherwise).

It would have taken hours to confirm if William G of Egerton was behind the bid and if it was credible. They allowed, and possibly created, a false market for a week.

When the price drops tomorrow fill yer boots. Plenty of less gullible people will be happy to sell to you. You have said yourself you have been burned many times before by trusting fake bids and other well crafted company statements designed to mislead. I'm afraid your wealth will be transferred to others because the stock market is no place for the naive.

I hope people can see now that Jak, myself and others have called this out exactly for what it is and can salvage some of their investment before it's too late. You should just accept you got it wrong and stop trying to reassure.

RNS 28/07/2023 - "As part of our strategic planning UBO does not envisage raising capital by issuing new equity to fund wells, additionally the company is well financed to meet its operational commitments into 2024."

Despite the above another placing can still occur.

The price had been rising from 0.4p in July to 3p just before the offer news. There is plenty of interest in the stock unrelated to any offers.

They and their JV partner Big Oil Venture of Malaysia are sourcing drills. Recent estimates in neighbouring blocks suggest large hydrocarbons.

RNS 28/07/2023 - "Preliminary estimates suggest significant hydrocarbon resources in Block SK334, comparable to neighbouring billion-barrel Seria field and Europe's largest offshore Oil & Gas reservoirs."

RNS 18/08/2023 - "Upland Resources Limited (LSE: UPL) is pleased to announce that, through its collaborative discussions with the Petroleum Authority of Brunei Darussalam, the Company has recently been advised that gas was discovered in two previously unknown reservoirs in the neighbouring block in Brunei, which is located close to, and has a similar geological context to prospective areas in Block SK334."

People expecting this to drop big then bounce,well they must be low on money as the pot from placing at start of year must all be gone by now so must be running on fumes,so I expect another placing soon so won't be jumping in here until after that.

But I don't mind that, just pointing it out. What I don't like are the team of distortion merchants. To think of people selling to them on the back of the tripe they've been peddling in here, especially if they've been through the real tough times, it's sickening.

Uploader sold at lows and missed a 20 or 30 bagger, so is bitter. All major holders held through the lows and still do, sorry to spoil the narrative, you can check the share register. This will be a blip and the trend will remain our friend, it's been there for very good reason

There are zero reasons to suspend the stock on Monday. Everyone is in possession of the same information and so the market simply needs to do its job - provide a place where willing buyers and willing sellers can meet.

Just to be clear to all the mugs reading this, this company has alwaysbeen a red Flag ever since the founder, Dr S Staley resigned in 2019. He resigned because he wasn't happy with how the new shareholders were running the company. A lot of shareholders have been underwater since then. All those shareholders are high and dry now.....sinceMonday's announcement. And you lot of mugs have helped that happen.
