30/10/2023 08:00 | As said last week - the lack of any share price rise to any where near the alleged offer told you everything you needed to know. So many people are out to scam others - don't get caught in the hype when the obvious outcome is staring you in the face. | supercity
30/10/2023 07:59 | usless board what is to say this mess will not happen again | stockhunters

30/10/2023 07:53 | Releasing this statement is that the Directors were not complicit to the fraud. Yes you were. | snoopy12
30/10/2023 07:51 | "Through a close working relationship with the local regulator PETROS, we are confident that on completion of the Joint Technical Study, Upland will be in the best position to progress the Block SK334 Production Sharing Contract with PETROS. Preparation for the first exploration well will begin in 2024."Properly ramped imv. | neo26
30/10/2023 07:50 | Classic market manipulation. Someone at this company made a lot of money pumping and dumping this. | mortal1ty
30/10/2023 07:43 | but to get to the lawyers stage and advisors board have to deem the offer legit? | stockhunters
30/10/2023 07:41 | It's a strong RNS but is it really that easy to manipulate the market? Yesterday I planned to dump it all but this morning I think I'll grit my teeth and ride it out. | michaelwhight
30/10/2023 07:39 | Also hearing a rumour that a certain shortar5ed profiteer and his cult might all be getting a 6am chat at the door ;-) Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. The Board will seek further advice on any action to be taken and support any investigations by the relevant authorities. | richsif
30/10/2023 07:34 | It sounds like an investigation will happen. The company shouldn't of let it get so far without engagement and actually MEETING the potential offerors before releasing an rns to move to offer period. They actually never met the people or what?So what was the communication?Emails | apfindley
30/10/2023 07:19 | Another news is released | ym
29/10/2023 23:28 | Lol it's very simple why there won't be a suspension, they're going to be investigating the scammers not the company! Upland will be first in line to assist and look for answers. | throwingmuses
29/10/2023 23:08 | haggismchaggis, "Claims that Upland has no assets is blatant lies." That claim is "no material assets". "Upland owns 38 percent of the Dunrobin Prospect in Moray Firth, and 25 percent of Block SK46c in the UK" Upland has invested an insignificant sum into Dunrobin, no number is recorded in the accounts. The estimated drill cost is £8m: Upland's share of the drill cost would be c. £3m - £3m of cash that Upland simply doesn't have. Arguably it's a liability rather than an asset. Block SK46c is similarly not shown on the balance sheet. Again it needs to be drilled and UPL will need to find cash to fund its contribution. JakNife | jaknife
29/10/2023 23:07 | Obviously won't be suspended, which is fine, although if it was it would lock in the shorts until after PSC etc, They're bricking a suspension for that reason, and because they need out while they've worked peak fear into holders, or at least they would if they were any good. Investigate I agree with! Follow the money that predicted the scam bid, any huge shorts closing Friday 20th, reopening at highs Monday 23rd..... then closing in the morning at whatever level we let them out... Unlikely to be coincidence fca | throwingmuses
29/10/2023 22:09 | Claims that Upland has no assets is blatant lies..Upland owns 38 percent of the Dunrobin Prospect in Moray Firth, and 25 percent of Block SK46c in the UK..The Malaysian project is early doors but Upland you'd have to say are the preferred company to take the asset to drilling. | haggismchaggis
29/10/2023 22:02 | To be fair I think the pump and manipulation started a few weeks before the fake bid.I'd say a group of "known" people started buying heavily at sub-1p and carried on pumping to keep the price rising. They then made a fake bid to inflate the price higher, knowing that it would rise, but unlikely reach the ridiculous price of 14p they set, so were still happy knowing that the market demand would allow them to easily sell, which they did.As for switching then to shorts being opened on the spike, I'm unsure, but it's possible. If the fca and sfo get stuck into this, there's going to be some very tight spinkters. It a jailtime criminal offence, fraud, impersonation, the list goes on. The trades can be traced.Whoever's bringing the popcorn will need deep pockets. | apfindley
29/10/2023 21:47 | We're not listed on AIM snoop. Main market, not to be messed with. Wouldn't want huge trades that predicted the fake bid on my account. | throwingmuses
29/10/2023 21:34 | Top of the FCA list to investigate QUOTE BID IS GENUINE SCUM | bmwman3
29/10/2023 21:26 | The shares should have been suspended on the day they released the RNS, pending clarification. A false market was created in the shares. AIM is a cesspit and it will only encourage more companies. If it was listed on the ASX the shares would have been suspended. | snoopy12
29/10/2023 20:52 | all the best. | linesal2 |
