Also reporting today was UK Oil & Gas (LSE: UKOG). Its shares are down by 10% after updating on progress with regard to the Upper Portland Sandstone interval. Its results were disappointing in comparison to the other two wells in the Kimmeridge zone, with it producing at a stabilised rate of 168 bopd. However, when this figure is added to the flow rates from the other two reservoirs, it equates to 1528 bopd of high quality crude, which is ahead of management's previous expectations.

Looking ahead, the 20% stake that UKOG holds in the Horse Hill project has the potential to deliver significant profitability in the long run for the company's investors. As such, UKOG has the potential to double.

Can commercial amounts of oil ever be extracted without fracking? With the low oil price I doubt it!

You are getting confused with my post as I was talking of the free flow oil which we already have
The one where the tankers are coming in twice a day to pick the oil up.

But I can see how you could quickly get confused from the previous post.

Could luck with your short.
Or are you so concerned about investors putting their money in a dud company

Indeed pumps were used and a larger pipe is being used to get a better flow rate, results next week.
Expectations were more than in line what was to be expected as oil is already been pumped in this zone.
Yes of course new wells can get blocked, but no point in speculating on the Unknown ,like the placing.

Question for you and please answer.
How much money do Ukog have in the bank and what's the maximum loan facility do they have??

I think you forget the free flowing oil is further down, with pumps even you must see that oil will come up a faster rate than what it is at the moment.multiply this by several and what do you get.

The solo chairmen has stated today it's economical to produce oil under 160 bopd so the $40 to produce must be out of the window as they wouldn't continue operations.

Case of wait and see,Iam on free float, started with zero in 88e brought a day trade and kept it from 0.50p
Sold end of last week.450% increase.
Will watch with interest

Genesis I am no mate of TW,I merely sign my posts on LGO with TW to wind up Liquid Millionaire who is paranoid about TW. The 168 bopd here was using pumps if you check the RNS. New wells always produce most oil when first perforated and then they fall off,168 bopd will be the highest production level by a big margin and that is tiny. There are often other problems with new wells, they can get blocked by silt etc and need workovers to keep them flowing. It is far from certain that such small flow rates are worth the costs of drilling, especially with oil at $40 a barrel or less.

Note how long the 2.50p bid lasted a few mins ago,it was sold into and went very very quickly. Anyone buying over 2.50p is unlikely to get their money back. I suspect that a lot of the 'hot money' has left and only the small PIs are still holding/buying.
