There is still a question mark over whether oil production from Horse Hill is commercial. There is a question about odours that have suddenly appeared in the area but the biggest question is whether the flow rate is able to continue at a high enough level to warrant the high cost of drilling. It is easy to take 'initial flow rates' as sustainable but that is not how it works. Oil is under immense pressure and when a well is first drilled gas,water,etc can push the oil out in high amounts but after a short time some of the pressure is lost and flow rates drop and drop. LGOs Goudron field is a fine example of this,one well,670,had an open flow of 6000 bopd,a choked flow of over 1000 bopd but now the whole of the oil field,over 120 wells produces less than 400 bopd.

I always said that I found the C1-C5 gases when drilling to be key at the #gatwickgusher. Especially the C4 and C5 gases.

Off topic (for those that are thinking about banking profits)

Leg is about to get re-rated because it owns 7% of a private company called VirtualStock who's clients include Tesco and Argos etc . They have a contract with Guys and St Thomas NHS trust and will get many more contracts with the NHS (probably country wide) . VS has a world class BOD with the x director of Samsung who grew sales from $1- $4billion within a year and the X director of the NHS procurment has recently joined . Even Moonpig founder Nick Jenkins (from dragons den) has recently invested .

US storage capacity for the majority of facilities excepting North Dakota were standing at record levels of 523 million barrels last week and Saudi reduced production by 1 million bopd...hence today's rise.
