09/3/2016 07:57 | Fair point, the RNS did say that the oil was 'on pump' but this is not good news and production will fall off fast anyway, new wells always do.168 bopd is not a lot. Most of LGOs Goudron wells are on pump but they have declined in production from 2000 bopd to under 400 bopd in about 18 months. The question still is 'is the oil extractable on a commercial basis?'. | ![]() 12bn

09/3/2016 07:54 | These results are based on vertical drilling results----when horizontal drilling results enter the equation then we should see multiples of the 1528 bopd per well pad. And Xodus have planned 12 pads for UKOG. | ibug

09/3/2016 07:51 | Proactive Investors Solo Oil PLC says third Horse Hill test comes in better than expected 07:33 09 Mar 2016 Over a continuous nine hour period, oil from the Portland section of the well flowed at 168 barrels per day Solo Oil PLC says third Horse Hill test comes in better than expected Horse Hill has delivered better than expected results in in the last three tests The consortium behind the Horse Hill development well near Gatwick has posted another good result as flows from the shallowest part of the well matched the nearby Brockham discovery. Over a continuous nine hour period, oil from the Portland section of the well flowed at 168 barrels per day from approximately 615 metres below ground level. The maximum flow during this test period was also restricted. UK Oil & Gas (LON;UKOG) , the well’s operator, said that Horse Hill-1 has now produced at a combined average stable rate of over 1,528 bopd from the two Kimmeridge and Upper Portland zones. Stephen Sanderson, UKOG's executive chairman said: "The Horse Hill well still continues to flow and perform above management's expectations. “Higher flow rates and markedly better crude quality than the Upper Portland oil from the nearby Brockham field make the HH-1's commercial prospects very real. “We look forward to the results from the optimised pumping programme." UK Oil & Gas has a 3.6% stake in Brockham, which was discovered in 1987 and has been producing at rates of up to 140 barrels per day for a number of years. | ![]() moneymunch
09/3/2016 07:49 | 12bn - You forgot to post the bit where it clearly stated the rod-pump was restricted. As you rightly pointed out, initial flow rates are higher hence the need to restrict them deliberately and then gradually open. True readings will be available in 2-3 days time. Your economic use of the true facts is dishonest. | ![]() nevgroom
09/3/2016 07:46 | 12 BN-----TOTAL OIL OUTPUT NOW STANDS AT 1528 bopd and more will come as the upper portland was restricted flow. UNRESTRICTED FLOW = HIGHER FLOW RATES | ibug

09/3/2016 07:43 | IDMUKOG RNS Number : 4696R UK Oil & Gas Investments PLC 09 March 2016 UK Oil & Gas Investments PLC ("UKOG" or the "Company") Further Update on Horse Hill-1 Flow Test Portland Zone Flows Oil at a Sustained Rate of 168 Barrels Per Day UK Oil & Gas Investments PLC (London AIM and ISDX: UKOG) announces that Horse Hill Developments Limited ("HHDL") has informed the Company that 37-degree API, light, sweet, dry (99-100% oil) crude has flowed to surface, via rod pumping, at an average stabilised rate of 168 barrels per day over a continuous 9-hour period./////// This is not good, initial flow rates are always higher than sustainable flow rates due to pressure. It is like shaking up a bottle of fizzy cola, the initial fast flow drops off quickly as the pressure decreases. | ![]() 12bn

The results will be reported once available. | ![]() moneymunch

09/3/2016 07:20 | As RNS stated, rod pump was deliberately restricted for initial flow tests. They will open it up over the next few days to give a true picture. Expect further announcement Friday or monday | ![]() nevgroom |
