04/3/2016 11:53 | The $1.5 million USD was estimated as UKOG's share of the cost per well. Your comments are very welcome and interesting....espec Personally I prefer the organic growth route albeit progress would start out slower but would cumulatively accelerate with additional production. | ibug
04/3/2016 11:52 | Thanks Si I don't have them on my monitor. They all seemed to start moving at the same time so it deffo looks like good news has leaked. As always on Aim the big boys get to fill their boots first. Its looking like good news | ![]() robbie1424

04/3/2016 11:41 | I like your post 1002 re growing organically, but the cost of wells is likely to be somewhat higher. After a bit of research - and it's hard to get any clear idea of cost in terms of what they want to do here - the dollar pricing was c $5 to 10m, so £3-7m. Their share around 20% is very doable but they have a number of other opportunities to progress, and if they cannot get bankable cash flow from HH1 for a year or so, they may be constrained in due course by cash. I note also the comments re institutional investors wanting to invest. Number of ways they could do this of course, and I wouldn't be averse to a placing so long as it doesn't discount the share price Now is definitely not the time to do it. The share price needs to better reflect the underlying value at this time ie c 5p. Best for existing shareholders may be convertible nil or very low coupon bonds. I seem to recall their $10m line of credit is at 10% which is on the high side. They should be able to get better terms now there is less risk. I get the impression SS is no fool, so hopefully will resist the dash to cash. | forwood
04/3/2016 11:27 | The volume of the tank next to the well looks to be: 125.71428571428561 cubic metres If the volume of a barrel of oil is approx = 0.785714285714285 cubic metres then the storage capacity of the well tank onsite is approximately = 160 barrels The dimensions in the calculation are only using visual estimates of cylinder sizes from the video. | ibug
04/3/2016 11:26 | starting to look like news has leaked as solo on the move as well. Good Luck all | ![]() robbie1424
04/3/2016 11:14 | That video provided useful intelligence---lol.. | ibug
04/3/2016 11:06 | An interesting over the wall video of the site working, note the large storage container next to the well head: ALSO NOTE THE MEN IN SUITS WEARING HARD HATS. | ibug
04/3/2016 11:01 | UKOG appear to be on the cusp of concluding well analysis and starting a new horizon by developing production wells. Investors look set to reap the rewards after year's of hard work by the business. | ibug
04/3/2016 10:58 | Lol....don't worry, I'm playing all the way.....this is going to be huge. ;-) | ![]() moneymunch
04/3/2016 10:55 | MM---exactly---this business could be organically grown using existing financial facilities or accelerated development with a larger corporation. Either way investors are set to reap rewards if this is managed properly---the CEO has shown himself to be resourceful and professional---all to play for imo. | ibug
04/3/2016 10:51 | It's already potentially transformational, Major or no Major, but no doubt several are watching events closely. Gl :-) | ![]() moneymunch
04/3/2016 10:42 | With flow testing scheduled to finish sometime next week the final results of the total well output and consequential potential will become known. Then we will find out whether the rumor of Total visiting the site during flow testing will start to firm up. If an oil major gets involved in the development of the Weald basin then the business becomes transformational.... | ibug
04/3/2016 10:29 | In any event HH-1 is set to develop as a production site that could experience being fast tracked by Big Gov following recent discussions between the authorities and UKOG. The business has everything to play for to it's advantage...imo | ibug
04/3/2016 10:26 | At a cost of approx $1.5 million USD per well that might look like a possible scenario elluding bloggers predictions. But another attractive possibility that the CEO mentioned during a recent interview; was that a number of investors expressed interest in the project after the first lower zone 3 results became known. Perhaps more investment cash is on the horizon from Institutions and major/ larger corporations. | ibug
04/3/2016 10:17 | What may be interesting to consider whilst attempting to second guess the company's future strategy is whether the company could grow the business organically by developing the HH-1 site as a multi pad 12 well exploratory production platform piecemeal?. Without the need for further borrowing outside the remit of the $11 million USD credit line already in place. Comments welcome. | ibug
04/3/2016 10:17 | I expect Bad Robot's and Co short stops have just been activated. ..pmsl...gla lucky ones, Onwards and Upwards!!! :-))) | ![]() moneymunch

04/3/2016 08:51 | It is interesting to see that the LSE might be merged with Deutsche exchange---if this happens then the LSE may be subject to EU trading regulations which woulld curtail short trading following a 6 month ban on the practise last year. The London Stock Exchange said a merger with its Frankfurt rival Deutsche Börse would be “compelling The LSE’s annual results showed profit before tax, stripping out one-off items, rose to £643.4m, from £491.7m in 2014. Including exceptional items, profits climbed to £336.1m from £182.1m. Revenues surged 78% to £2.3bn. The company raised its dividend for 2015 by 20% to 36p a share. The results did not mention ICE, the owner of the New York Stock Exchange, which earlier this week revealed it was pondering a potential counterbid. | ibug |
