this is a point i was trying to make in 1011, maybe not clearly, if you allow spacs on aim and aim stocks in an isa, then the isa rules should have changed to reflect/accommodate spacs

Had a communication from Barclays saying you can’t keep delisted stock in SIPP or ISA anyone had similar? If going to be re listed on main market in next few months assuming FCA gives green light, any ideas what the plan is with SIPP holding whilst delisted?

its on, until spc say otherwise.

'The directors of the Company are pleased to advise that the transaction continues to progress towards its completion and they believe that the application to the FCA for admission of UK SPAC's enlarged share capital to the Official List (by way of a Standard Listing under Chapter 14 of the Listing Rules) and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities ("Readmission") is progressing satisfactorily.'

counting. "The lengthy posts last night from maserjt were just sad ramblings on a suspended share..."

No they weren't. It was a look at your credibility, as far as you'll allow us since you keep deleting your posts when you've got things wrong. An average loss of 70% pa does not bode well. If you haven't the courage to leave your posts up and stand by your track record then your contributions are, like those of Box o' frogs, of zero value. BTW, I leave the remote psychoanalysis bit to the remote psychos.

As for citing CIZ as a 'phoenix risen from the ashes' success story that SPC could emulate then I'll leave you to work out the horrific losses suffered by the pre collapse investors in Photonstar in April 23019 (3p to 0.045p + 20 month suspension) which became Bould (cash shell) then CIZ (10p to 2.8p) following its downward spiral IPO just nine months ago. If that's your idea of a good share to emulate then pray tell us what cloud cuckoo land looks like. Enjoy your vacation. I will.

note from broker.

'ISA Customers

Due to restrictions imposed on ISA accounts, unlisted shares are not considered a qualifying investment. Certificates received in respect of ISA accounts will no longer be held within the tax efficient wrapper so will lose any tax benefits.'

spacs allowed on aim, aim stocks allowed in isa, but aim rules didn't keep up with govt spac rules, a couple years allowed to make a deal?

who can sort this out?
is this a treasury or fca or london stock exchange issue?

Well having read the RNS, I just hope the new March deadline can see this over the line. The FCA should be privatised as they clearly don’t have the resources to conduct business in a timely or effective manner. Typical government department, over paid and under resourced! Are they having too many parties I wonder? I think it’s fair to say that you wouldn’t want the FCA to be arranging your mortgage, otherwise your house sale would fall through 100% of the time. FCA not fit for purpose!!! Maybe the FCA should translate as Failure to Complete Approvals.

There are a few sad individuals lurking around here that are fixated with Open Orphan, but all they do is slag CF and the company. They’d be a lot better off spending their time and effort’;s trying to source information about companies that they could invest in, rather than wasting time on here. One can only assume these guys have mental health issues, which is unfortunate?

All I can say is the management's lack of clarity here goes beyond anything that is acceptable, the same cannot be said for your other comments. As you know full well, there is a very high risk that this will all end up in a black hole as others have concluded. You are not comparing apples with apples! I just hope your eternal optimism bears fruit.

Extrader. Re your link hxxps://www.cdprg.co.uk/research posted across the road is addressing drug policy across all classes of drugs and not specifically cannabis or psychedelics for general medical use. CDPRG is merely a talking shop, a think tank that seeks to get between proposals and actions often creating, as most think tanks do, a reason for their own existence plus confusion and delay in whatever legislative changes they're apparently trying to achieve.

Crispin Blunt's letter to the PM perfectly illustrates the wordy wordy waffle these self sustaining special interest groups thrive on: hxxps://static1.squarespace.com/static/5bbb29273560c345fcc0fade/t/61bbd2b4f1be8479895cfc9a/1639699128158/5.+Letter+to+Prime+Minister+26Nov2021.pdf

Nothing crisp or blunt about those two pages of waffle. Lol.

i presume we lose isa protection of shares. i would like to have seen an acknowledgement from fca/lse of the 'macro' situation in which the deal is being undertaken and some leeway granted [4-12weeks?].

will future rns still appear here or will we have to go hunting 'rns reach'?
