The delays have been caused by the time frames the FCA have adopted, no problem/disagreements with the parties and advisors involved.

You’re right there Boxermut, this is going to end up being an empty shell at this rate. This appears from lack of progress to be more like a scam every day that goes by but hope it’s not? I can’t believe it’s just the FCA being under resourced that is holding this up? It all seems very suspicious pushing out the listing date time and time again? AIMHO ADYOR!

I am pleased to say that we are making good progress but we will not be able to complete before 31 March and we will then have to extend the long stop date, one more time and both parties are happy to do that.

We need time to complete the FCA approval process and it is difficult to estimate how long that will take because they are not a private sector professional firm. I suggest that another 8 weeks would cover their additional scrutiny and then the time for convening the EGM so I think another 6 weeks should be sufficient. I cannot of course guarantee that as you will understand.

I phoned up Hargreaves, where I've got ISAs and my SIPP, to find out what I can do about selling my small stake in UK Spac.
They said that I'd have to put in a kind of fill or kill order over the phone.

You’d have thought the company would have considered the consequences of the FCA doing nothing and delisting happening. As this was such a unique deal cause of the cannabis connection, then the AIM rules on SPAC deals should have been updated from 6 month limit to 12 months?

HSBC won't hold delisted stock at all, whether it's in an ISA or not

Yes in the letter from Barclays it says that you cannot hold the delisted stock in your ISA, so I imagine problems for some? The SIPP matter is okay.

Just spoke to Barclays. It was just a nonsense letter. The shares will just sit in the SIPP until something happens. Just a case of waiting for the FCA to get their act together at some point in the future.
