Seeing as nothing has happened yet, one assumes Stelios from Hellenic and the directors of our Spac were just stringing us along yet again? What happened to all sorted by “early January”? I hope we don’t see any of them lying on the Beach in the Costas sipping champagne, if we’ll have some clues what happened to all the dosh?

I agree Mas, this is looking like a costa del con as each and every day passes. I think we may lose a few grand here when this deal collapses into thin air along with a few million? I hope I’m wrong as Boxermut is going to lose his shirt I think?

I just don't get why frail and fragile types like you and Mungo invest in high risk stocks more so SPAC's ?

Clearly you both have issues and are not of the disposition to take risks which in turn effects your mental wellbeing.

Ever thought about premium bonds , cash ISA etc ? Or maybe even a FTSE100 tracker to give you meaning to a chat board ?

Davinder Rai has regularly embellished / overstated the true situation.

AFAIK there is a lack of clarity as to whether Hellenic has been awarded a Greek Operating Licence (it already has the Construction Licence).

On 8th Sept it was reported they were awaiting various approvals: hxxps://businesscann.com/greek-cannabis-cultivator-waiting-for-regulators-approval-before-a-spac-london-listing/ [also read the R.H. side bars!] and this says they're fully licenced but it's not dated. Re delisting: not all would be lost but you might struggle to get your money back.

thank you for sharing that email response. Peter is perhaps a politician-solicitor and doesn't want to get caught on commenting on legals - perhaps unless the £ clock is running?

I would agree that if it delists they just reapply. The downside of that is cost and built in to the suggested relisting price is the condition that a specific remaining cash level is maintained. Relisting costs money... Hence the longer this drags on and salaries are paid and listing fees incurred I guess the levels of returns for existing shareholders may be compromised?
