Don’t be concerned Garth, just some lose change on the table in reality. However Mr Rai shouldn’t go making statements like this imho……… Mr Rai told BusinessCann: “We expect to join the LSE before the end of October at the latest.”

muchodinero,

Thank you for the reply.

If you have been "led up the garden path" then I guess Mr Friel was too?

He does not take me as naive or friviolous with his investment funds. Hence I am not convinced that provides a sufficient explanation.

This has certainly taken longer than expected. We are investing in a plant based medicinal substance (although when I invested in Mountfield I did not know what the target company would be). Our current pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks are based on chemical stuctures with a greater level of consistency than can be achieved easily with organic/plant based medicines. That creates a significant hurdle because it could be that any decision to allow listing may be second guessing later decisions around regulatory approval? Regulatory approval in the UK is, it seems, going require a new regulatory paradigm. Whether this is an insurmountable obstacle I really do not know - but I hope it isn't.

Either way, I do not believe that this process has been intentionally disingenuous.

I do, however, accept that it is more complex than I, in my own naivity, had initially appreciated. And hence it is frustrating (and potentially worrying) to have funds tied up for longer than expected with no clear timescale on resolution.

If eventually these are delisted then I will own shares in a delisted company and continue to wait. It won't be the first time that it has happened. I won't be particularly entralled with the prospect - but if that is what it is there is little I can do about it. I decided to invest. I knew it was risky. I didn't bet the house - and I hope you didn't either.

Best wishes,

G.

you were not led, it was your decision to invest

take responsibility for your own decisions

Re Garth, in short yes it was one reason. I’m fortunate that this is a bit of a punt, but not a big fan of being lead up the garden path even if it is only a modest investment.

Hellenic Dynamics @HellenicDynami1 25m
Research conducted by @Drug_Science and published today in @bmj_latest shows that when used by children with intractable epilepsy #medicalcannabis can reduce seizure frequency by 86%. This prompts further calls for NHS access.

muchodinero,

You are very positive about ORPH. I assume you followed CF here. Is that right?

Ash, Boxer I haven’t missed any boat, but being misled by a bunch of dodgy so called businessmen is a different story! We were told this WOULD be sewn up by November, no talk of running the clock down to the wire! Do some research guys!

As holders are locked in it therefore makes zero difference what anybody says
It will be a minor miracle to get this over the line now

It's not what he says, it's his motive on why he says it.

We are locked in, we can't buy or sell these shares so why does he keep de-ramping them?

I'm guessing he didn't buy in time and is just trying to upset those that did (Sour grapes)

First mover they are not. There are several cannabis based companies already quoted and on their 2nd and 3rd fundings, now approaching commercialisation. My picks are mxc and octp, but virtually any thc research/dev company will do well, the market is huge. There'll be consolidation, pooling resources between the growing small caps and big pharma land grabbing them when they realise they need to be in cannabinoids.
