The deal is pitched at £45.2m, with some 9.5bn new shares to be issued at a price of 0.472p per share.

Well i never, a placing.

Several must be surprised at that, but it's the major part of why it's getting spc's quote.

The opening price will be 0.472p imo, but i expect it will quickly rise to 0.6p. Could really rise to anything depending on whether there's any hype to go with it. So not as profitable as i thought, but nonetheless very much worth holding. I'm buying most things cannabis, especially on the medical side.

True, it's not there till the fat lady sings, but i think she's about to go on stage.

No worries ?All the information and links regarding uk spc and hellenic i get from hellenic dynamics own twitter page (@HellenicDynami1).They are very active on there, posting most days. They only seem to have 250 or so followers at the moment. I highly recommend anyone with any investment interest here to give them a follow.

67%pa growing market.RNs from mxc today should get the cannabis market potential more widely appreciated, and give a higher price for the Hellenic issue.

Indeed....patience needed....also we're transferring from AIM to a main market listing (another positive for me) so it's bound to take time.I have mid November pencilled in but all good if it's earlier.

Yeah, you don't even have to get the best company in the sector. At this stage of an emerging massive cannabis product market, good news for any of them will drive all in the sector up a bit (from what they would otherwise be). And you don't get much better than the news at mxc today.Hellenic should come to the market very strongly. It's an emerging sector.

There is news detailing the rto.It's a good starting place to understand the takeover instead of guessing with endless 'may' this, 'may' that.

There's bound to be an institutional placing imv, that's part of the whole idea! Unless hellenic are really full to overflowing with cash, the initial quote will enable insts to invest at the outset. It's probably just the high costs which will keep pis out, but we may get a chance (5% chance ime).

There may also be a consolidation of existing shares.

Strangely, a placing at say an uncosolidated .5p for example will result in the initial quoted price starting at .5p (strange because of the existing shares we own). But the extra value comes from the cash they have raised i.e. hellenic may be worth one amount with little cash in tha bank, but double that amount if they have plenty of working capital for a year or two.

We can't do anything at all except wait to see how things turn out.
