SMART AWARDS 2015
Best Overall Brand: Vamousse
Ceuta Healthcare, Core Values, FKC, Starcom, Zeno & Intergage on behalf of TyraTech, Inc.

VAMOUSSE
With a relatively small marketing budget, funds have been invested in growth-driving activities rather than market data at this stage. However, the success of the marketing campaign in 2015 is reflected in the following:
 Despite a modest share of voice, the sales response to Vamousse TV has been exceptional, with sales spikes outperforming category seasonality that is part-driven by competitors’ heavier spends.
 IRI cited Vamousse as a role model NPD launch in 2015, within the top-5 most successful OTC launches.
 Performance has driven a wider distribution base. Boots doubled the distribution of Treatment to over 1,600 stores and listed Shampoo in 500 stores. Tesco dual-sited Treatment on main fixture and in Pharmacy.
 Support for Vamousse within Independent Pharmacy sector has been outstanding. Independent Pharmacy now accounts for over one-third of sales, despite wider national account distribution.
 High levels of pharmacy staff engagement in Vamousse Protective Shampoo’s training programme.
Amongst 130+ trained pharmacy staff, 100% agreed the training was highly innovative programme and 88% felt more confident in their ability to advise customers.
 Digital & social media campaigns exceeded expectations, with online video & PPC campaigns driving KPIs in excess of industry norms (e.g. VTR of 62%). Deputy Sheriff mummy blogs exceeded page view expectations (198K vs 100K).

Conclusion
Vamousse competes in a “big budget” head lice category, but the absence of a competitive weight of spend served to emphasise the importance of thinking differently and playing to brand strengths.
Through the creation of a Sheriff who protects her Wild West town from rampaging head lice and an innovative model that merges epidemiology and clinical trial data, Vamousse has enabled pharmacy staff and customers to join forces and unite behind the new rallying cry of…
“…Vamousse those Varmints!”

Good to see that your "header" is being updated so quickly michaelsadvfn.
TYRATECH has all the makings of a nice little investment imo.
Excellent future news flow looks to be a shoe in;as do escalating revenues and the scents of oncoming profitability.

The sales figures will do the talking.

Revenues are rocketing, margins are exceptional. I'd be surprised if the share price was still in single figures by year-end.

"share price says it all! 15 to 3 in 2 years !"Couldn't care less - I only bought over recent months near the lows. It appears walmart, walgreens, cvs, boots, superdrugs and today rite aid think the product has great potential. But harold the great doesn't.That says it all..

Nice. Another 4,500 retail outlets in the USA secured for Vamousse. Top 4 USA pharma retailers now aboard.

No financials so I wouldn't expect any movement in the share price today(other than down) but who knows.

Patience is the name of the game with this one.

MM's have knocked 22%, or almost £3m off the market cap on the back of £11k worth of sells, & that after the millions that were bought to get the share price up to 3.5p bid.

AIM can be a cruel place to invest if you can't think longer term. They won't be getting me to part with any of my shares at anywhere close to the current price.

Roll on the 2nd week of April.

The MMs might have moved their quote for TYRU downwards, yet they were actually seeking to buy in 250,000 size towards the close on Friday, which, as market watchers will know,is something of a bullish occurrence.

The share price says if there are no buyers and you want to sell then you won't get a good price.

Quite simple really.

Zak Mir in one of the TipTV discussions was puzzled by the share price given the progress and the rest of them concluded Tyratech suffered from a lack of awareness from investors.

Tyratech cannot be ignored for much longer; when the prelims are published on 7th April showing revenues topping $9m folk might just start to wake up to what's on offer. This type of share can move rapidly north in a short space of time and I believe 7th April will prove to be the catalyst for a rerating.

HTT - strange comments. "go into your local pharmacy and see if they stock it"I have visited multiple boots and superdrugs around London. They nearly all stock it."ask the pharmacist if they have had any feedback from patients"do people really go back to a pharmacist and let the guy behind the till know how they got on with their head lice treatment? Re the evidence table above. To repeat: it shows nearly 100% effectiveness over all time periods - it doesn't matter what you compare it with.Surely the point is - different people have different requirements, there is no single effective solution. So why would a pharmacist do anything other than welcome a product that tackles the problem in a different way?

mudbath if the ideal strength for over 2 is 30% why do they use 15%? below is from AMCA

Which repellent works best? N,N-diethyl-3-methylbenzamide (DEET) remains the standard by which all other repellents are judged. DEET was developed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and was registered for use by the general public in 1957. It is effective against mosquitoes, biting flies, chiggers, fleas, and ticks. Decades of empirical testing of more than 20,000 other compounds has not resulted in other repellent products with the duration of protection and broad-spectrum effectiveness of DEET, although the recent additions of picaridin and oil of lemon eucalyptus are remarkably close in effectiveness to DEET. The American Academy of Pediatrics says that all family members over the age of two months can use DEET-based repellents with up to 30% concentration with confidence.

DEET-based repellents have been around for more than 50 years but that hasn't kept the folks who make these products from innovating with new fragrances, new formulations, new product types, and, best of all, products that feel nice when applied. The DEET-based repellent fragrances are pleasant to use and range from fruity to woodsy neutral scents. Unscented products have a slight alcohol odor (there's alcohol in the formulation) until they dry on the skin. Folks who tend to be allergic to fragrances should try the unscented products. Today's products start out at a concentration of 5% (lasts 90 minutes or so) and range up to 100% (for approximately 10 hours of protection from bites). Pick one that matches your activity.

with regard to vamousse sales nobody has requested it. i have sold my stock by saying to patients this is new if you want to try something different but have not recommended it. i have not restocked.it might be my patients do not watch the tv channels where the add is transmitted. nobody has returned for a repeat can. from day 1 i thought it was overpriced and patients are very price sensitive at the moment. go into your local pharmacy and see if they stock it. ask the pharmacist if they have had any feedback from patients. my local boots and sainsbury dont stock it. if it was doing so well wouldn't the company put out the sales figures in the uk. luckily as i did not like the trials comparing the product with a low strength of deet and the high price of the product i refrained buying the shares. saved myself a large loss on the shares!

Guardian...

It's what the Americans want, an effective DEET-free product, and that's the most important issue.

90% of the feedback is very positive, with most stating it's the best product they've used to date.

80% of those that reviewed the product mention that it's DEET-free. QED.

With the Zika virus making headlines Guardian should do very well. Unfortunately most of the victims in South America probably couldn't afford a bottle.

HTG

It's probably unlikely that Tyrotech's Guardian would match the efficacy of a well formulated product with 50% DEET, but I suspect it is more pleasant to use.

Worth mentioning that DEET is a fairly good organic solvent (LOG P 2.02)

A 50% DEET formulation solution probably does very good job at dissolving and redistributing oils in the epidermis, it certainly feels like that when I have used products containing high levels of DEET in the past and I would avoid them if there was an equally effective but less unpleasant alternative available.
