I have just sent an email to Bruno, asking him to hold the next AGM in the UK as this is where most of the long suffering PI reside !!

PS I guess you could also say the company is net investing in Guardian too as they are in the process of getting the appropriate cetification. As I have said before, once this is obtained I expect Guardian to be offloaded!

You beat me to it michael! And they have 2 products generating income which must have a value so effectively the animal health business must be valued as minus a few million😜! Of course the animal health products also are generating income but currently the company is net investing in these products.

Yes I know these arguments didn't mean much in the past....until they sold Vamousse. There will be similar events at some point in the future so I bought another 100k this morning because at this level as you suggest, this valuation is ridiculous.

For sure this is now valued at less than cash in the bank. Unbelievable.

The selling continues.

Sentiment seems to be at an all-time low; oft the best time to buy but I think I’ll pass on that until Bruno speaks!!

Thanks greedfear.SVS are now in the process of filling in an 8 page form for the registrar which if done should allow the tax to be claimed. That was only after getting my terrier (wife) on the case. They say there are not obligated to claim the tax but morally they are.I will be very relieved when this is sorted.

Didn’t Bruno once say they lisred in London due to investor interest in this type of stock? I’m sure he did but I can’t remember in which interview he made the remark.

There doesn’t appear to be much interest from where I’m sitting.

Reasonable point. There are quite a few companies I could apply the same reasoning to on AIM but in reality it doesn't seem to happen very often. I can only think of a couple of examples over my long investment history, when such companies have actually been taken private.

But yes I have to agree it is a finite risk here....

ashtree2 -I believe the W8-BEN is required for both TYR and TYRU shares. Tyratech is a US company. Thus US tax rules apply. Somehow no withholding tax will be deducted if there's a W8-BEN (because of a tax treaty) but it will be deducted otherwise. (Still don't get why any withholding tax should be applicable here as the company had no retained earnings.).

I’ve been thinking similar pug, the company is gaining nowt with the AIM listing. It certainly isn’t attracting much ‘investor̵7; interest. Time will tell.

Nobby - I suspect far more likely to be taken private at a little above today's price - the cost of mentaining a listing with nomands and indepedent directors is (imo) not worthwhile - £3.5 million is not a lot of money - less that a very small house or mews in the centre of London.

To build value in the animal health business is going to take a few years. Along the way there will be a few other good bits of news potentially such as the sale of Guardian, accelerating sales of Outsmart or a lump sum royalty for Vamousse from Alliance but essentially I am here for the multiples which will come in the long haul. At a market cap of about £3.5 million at present, it looks particularly good value for the patient amongst us!

Agreed michaelsadvfn,but sometimes needs must.

There seemed to be some discord when I suggested revenues of $3million for 2018.
If the company cannot aspire to such a paltry level then it would be better off with a larger entity with whom it could, maybe, cut the mustard..

Tyratech has to demonstrate traction, and soon;or at the very least suggest that success is imminent.

As with the pre tender era,it is a win win scenario; again with an element of patience required.

mud,

I very much doubt whether Bruno would agree with you.

He didn’t join Tyratech to build a £3.5m company then sell it off.

Did he?

It's a puzzle to me that Tyratech are concerning themselves with Europe when they have the US market to address. There is a parallel here with Vamousse where money was wasted chasing the French market.
Vamousse was of course then sold.
My view is that the remainder of the Tyratech operation will soon follow down a similar route;if the PureScience product is indeed as effective as initial feedback suggests.
In this event, what exit figure might we be looking at ?

Almost 6 months have passed since Bruno claimed they were ‘very close’ to getting the mite dust into the European market.

Let’s hope it happens this year.

Thanks guys for your help regarding SVS not claiming the 24%.Does anyone know if the W8BEN form is required for both TYR and TYRU shares. My understanding is that it is required for the TYR shares only.thanks

I sold 80% of my shares using the tender offer. Currently I'm in no hurry to buy those back. Meanwhile I've placed my bets on uranium plays.

If TYRU commanded a premium over TYR as it did prior to the tender offer, then the price here should already be 3p+,nobbygnome.
I suppose we might see it re-established eventually.

In the end I’ve received my money in full. Someone along the line had made a mistake (not sending the W8-BEN to the registrar, probably) and because of that 24% withholding tax had been deducted. My broker, through Morgan Stanley, has been able to correct that mistake. Seems that if SVS are unable to reclaim the 24% tax it’s because they’re incompetent.

So why didn't we get a string of RNSs announcing these changes in holdings.....

I see now a few were announced such as Alan Reade but not Octopus and Amvac...
