14/4/2016 16:06 | When Edi is not thinking TUNG he is thinking pensions: | chemistdude
14/4/2016 14:24 | Edmund’s and Danny’s shares in Pension Corporation are pledged to the Truell Charitable Foundation. Knew I'd read it somewhere ;-) | chemistdude
14/4/2016 13:06 | $£, I think the current share price is a combination of: - 17% of the shares may be dumped at any moment - results due soon (well, 22 Jul last year) and can the company really move into profit without another raise - has the bank been properly sold yet... - the current management's practice of saying nothing unless they have to The TL;DR version: - WTF | andrewdbl
14/4/2016 12:23 | bs76/1gw: keep in mind the reported Indus 10% holding is actually distributed/diluted through other entities: UBS, AG & Morgan Stanley and Co. (per Indus holding RNS). | manics
14/4/2016 11:35 | chemist, I just checked Admission document. In 2014 Ed, Danny and rockhopper had 4% of PIC.At 1.3b, it comes out to 52m hxxps://www.tungsten page 116 " Edmund Truell, Danny Truell and The Truell Conservation Foundation (an entity that is controlled by Edmund Truell and Danny Truell as two of its three trustees) (together with management and other persons who are deemed to be connected to such persons) hold approximately four per cent. of the issued share capital in Pension Corporation and a carried interest entitlement of 19.28 per cent. of the combined outperformance of Pension Corporation and Tusk LP Inc once hurdle rates have been met" PIC is raising 500m and half for exiting shareholders i.e 250m which is way more than ED and danny's share. Some other shareholder might also be exiting | bs76
14/4/2016 11:25 | If there was a bid coming in sure it would have started reflecting in the SP? Word gets out or far more clever people than us figure out what the next move (s) are likely to be? | dollarzpounds
14/4/2016 11:19 | I don't know guys, I remember reading/listening at one point that Edi's Truell Foundation are the shareholders of PIC. Can't remember the source | chemistdude
14/4/2016 09:46 | It's a guess that makes sense. More like an extrapolation. You should post the FT on BlueShare and LSE, I reckon. | k3vmc
14/4/2016 09:42 | yes K3vmc, Ed's last bid does prove that he doesn't have access to liquid cash. He is selling PIC share for a while. My initial thought was that Ed might liquidate his PIC position on IPO. Now PIC is raising cash that means no more IPO. So may be this is for Ed's share. Just pure guess!! | bs76
14/4/2016 08:57 | bs76, that FT cutting is a real gem. Edi raising cash to get TUNG back HAS to be a strong possibility. Odey must average at least 80p, so you would think the offer would be at least £1 based on that. Say what you like about Edi, but he is one of the shakers and movers in the City. He must be smarting from some of the criticisms of him. He won't give up on this, because getting TUNG back and making it successful is the only way to prove his critics wrong. Whichever camp is more equipped to run the company, a hostile bid might be enough to remove the shorters. Interesting times to come. | k3vmc
13/4/2016 18:38 | But any bidder (whether ET or someone else) would always have wanted to pitch a bid at a level it thought would get major shareholders on board wouldn't it? I would have thought that the more concentrated the shareholdings are, the easier it is for someone to sound out key shareholders ahead of a bid with a view to pitching it at an attractive level. | 1gw |
