05/4/2016 09:49 | Thanks for advice. Have 5 different shares over different sectors. Ftse 100,250 and AIM. I learnt very quickly that as soon as I buy shares they go down and as soon as i sell them they go up. Any tips on how i can get this sorted. | dryboy
05/4/2016 09:35 | dryboy: Keyno makes a point here -in his usual jovial way! If you are an 'absolute novice' then take my advice, dissuade yourself from AIM multi bagger dreams. You'll just get rinsed along with most other PI's. Plenty of safer action (yet still with decent pace) within FTSE250 -good luck 8) | manics
05/4/2016 09:33 | Thanks manics. I see share dealing as a total gamble to be enjoyed. I made some money on aal so now have a bit to play with. Always good to hear from people with proper knowledge like yourself. | dryboy
05/4/2016 09:29 | You've chosen a real humdinger here to learn on, dryboy! Good luck and I'm sure you'll have an interesting journey. Just remember not to put all your eggs in one basket and I'm sure you'll do well. | keyno
05/4/2016 09:23 | dryboy: immediate price appreciation has to be driven by improving sentiment until the company demonstrably improves its own fundamentals; as I am expecting to witness over the coming 12 months as TUNG executes the roadmap to positive EBITDA. Don't get me wrong -I'll take any price appreciation I can get, though I'd rather it be based on fundamentals than sentiment (after everything TUNG has been through). | manics

05/4/2016 09:05 | Thanks manics. I thought that was how it worked. Any ideas who the 3.5 was ? Do you think this could be the start of the uptrend we've been waiting for. | dryboy

04/4/2016 16:29 | Have to agree with tradermel how do all these instis have large portions of the company bought up yet we linger at a laughable share price due to a 3% ish shirt position ??! The mind boggles. Surely a bit of common sense has to prevail here sooner or later ? | dollarzpounds
04/4/2016 12:02 | Nice rise in the am and unlike RGS we were not ramped (maybe the wrong word) by SCSW. However if the past is any guide, there will be a fall in the pm. | andrewdbl
04/4/2016 09:56 | No - I mean the Tungsten Network Finance "New appointee" who comes from a banking background. | 1gw
04/4/2016 09:51 | Banking add on? The bank is being divested. | hpcg
04/4/2016 09:47 | Just bought in here. I like the recovery story and the CMD presentation comes across well (1/3 of the way through so far). I also like the shareholder position. As I read it, most of the IPO investors are now out (or at least below the 3% threshold), while Odey, Morgan Stanley and Indus have all increased this year. So: 19% Odey 10% Indus 9% MS If added to ET's 16%, that's a pretty useful starting point for corporate action if the current management team can't show evidence of a turnaround fairly soon. So ET agitating to rehabilitate his reputation (through taking back control of the business somehow) and the current management team (with what look like impressive recent adds, and the banking one still to come) apparently on top of the business - seems to underpin the investment case IMO. | 1gw
04/4/2016 09:15 | did anyone get clarity on whether the purported position >3% by artemis actually get reported or not? | edwardt
04/4/2016 09:12 | 1 - A possible 17% overhang 2 - iirc there was a a fair few large sales last week (circa 100K) | andrewdbl
04/4/2016 07:12 | Morgan Stanley go above 9% by todays RNS, Shorts down to 3.28%, so why is the share price back down to these prices again .... weird | tradermel
