Agreed Boobly. I bought in to this on Monday and was soreley tempted to hit the sell button a few minutes ago. But assuming that the market does'nt completely crash ............... there is going to be a lot of press coverage over the weekend. Additionally I am sure the CNOOC rumours will not suddenly disappear and then of course there is the possibility that there will be positive news re the CNOOC/Total farm down. So still a good case for more upside IMHO.

it would be nice if it was transformational from a share price base of £15.08 (ATH) rather than the recent 52 week low of 921p.

Thanks 85G.... I think there is also time to wait as they deepen the well and further newsflow will materialise in the short term (we've only had the bare bones of the news so far... oil discovery... 72m pay but no volumetrics or anything else).
So, my guess is THIS story is not over yet.
Like your idea about NOP... they certainly need a boost to their credibility.
