Such wisdom aided it to collapse in an oil boom. Wonder if the wisdom extended to making an announcement before it was ever completed Phuthuma Nhleko, Chairman of Tullow Oil Plc, commented today:"Jeremy has been a source of wise counsel to me since I became Chairman of Tullow at the beginning of this year. I also know that my predecessors and our executive leadership have benefitted greatly from his advice, his experience and his expertise over the past nine years, a period in which Tullow has gone through many changes. When Jeremy retires from the Board on 30 November 2022, he does so with our heartfelt thanks and appreciation, and with all best wishes for the future."

And from TLW "The Board is currently undertaking its annual Board evaluation, which is reviewing, among others matters, the size and composition of the Board and its Committees."

..... hopefully some badly needed HQ savings in the offing!

IR Response below.

Q The company is still issuing the disclosure RNS, does this insinuate that the merger is not completely dead out of the water?

A. We have made it clear that we do not intend to increase our offer. However, we remain subject to the principles of the Takeover Code (LINK) and the series of Rules contain therein. The Code will be required to continue until long stop date (1 March 2023) passes or the Capricorn transaction with NewMed completes.

Wondering if Ghana can pay for the Gas?
Tullow have a tax dispute and if it goes against them perhaps they could pay with Gas.

The "offer" hasn't been withdrawn afaik so these Form 8.3 rns's will continue.

Another JUB cargo just departed. Production holding up very well. Let's say 87K to 88K over last 100 days. Possibly a smidgeon more. (Results presentation suggested JUB would decline to 81K by year end. So we may outperform that)

TEN new producer EN-21P came on line recently according to IR email. I reckon it may have been round about 7/Oct. Hope it works as last TEN cargo suggested field may be closer to 20K (unless there was some downtime). So 20K + EN-21P = what? Probably won't be another TEN cargo clue before Kosmos report on 7/Nov.

Rig still drilling N'tomme Riser Base-2 (NT-11P). About 30 days so far. Let's hope that one works!

here's some pictures again.



36.7p would be a 50% decline between 2020 low and recent high. We tested or broke that support I guess. To be fair given azvalor buys, it's hard for me to understand where we are at but it's possible this is the low to the next leg up or maybe it's a pause before the next leg down to 29.8p. Who knows?
