His wife has made him install Gamstop on the computers - first positive step taken after losing all of their money with an over-leveraged Tullow position

I think Candadian Mount has come clean to his wife and kids. Pension = gone. Savings = gone. ISAs = GONE. College funds = GONE. He's currently showing them photos from the LiveAid website to put things into perspective.

Doubt the Private Equity firm will be interested if Poo crashes spectacularly...
All that debt they'd have to service absent cash flows to cover it.

They're not that stupid. Asset stripping parasites yes, stupid, no.

And even if you play out the absolute worst case, for the people that have used leverage.... and might now be facing no money plus a hefty bill to pay. Even going bankrupt is better than the hardship that some in sub-saharan Africa face

You may not have anything left but as long as you have clothes on your back, food to eat, and the love of a good woman or man then you’re a success.

Also, life lessons cost money. So it's also important to realise that any losses will have also taught you a lesson, especially if you've lost more than you should have risked. Count the lesson as a blessing. It will soften the blow of the money being gone.

It's what I would think.

If crude opened up 100 bucks, my first thought would be "well, Canadian mount did OK so I'm happy snywsy"

Good point - so they are even worse off. No amount of Tullow losses is worth wasting negative energy over. It's only money. Count your blessings in life.

Rhino numbers have increased in recent years.
Tullow shareholders really need to listen, great advice. Think of families first.

My advice to anyone that has lost big time with Tullow - just remember that there is always someone worse off than you. Think of the people in Saharan Africa who have nothing more than water and basic food supplies. Will put any Tullow losses into perspective....
