"People will have to take a view of how sustainable these oil prices are. If oil prices stay in the $30s, a lot of companies will struggle," said David Round, an analyst with BMO Capital Markets in London. "But in Tullow's defence, they do have a good amount of liquidity, have not near-term [debt] amortisations, and are pretty well hedged at much higher oil prices this year."https://www.irishtimes.com/business/energy-and-resources/tullow-oil-bonds-slump-as-focus-turns-to-2-8bn-debt-1.4197620

It's already sending them to the wall and there will be others. Remember the following argument put foward I believe by 'Norm' Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers."

The market will still be there when this is over, but will we?

Let's say they generate minimum FCF for 6 months. Disappointing, but once POO recovers , throw in an asset sale, gas flaring to raise production, they can still pay down debt. I recall 2016 when I first bought in . Brent hit 26 usd. I got in about 35 or so..

NHS England figures show that approximately 17000 people die each year of Flu.
COVID19 is expected to kill 350.

The herd mentality has cost thousands of jobs and will send hundreds of companies to the wall.

The press are the single most unscrupulous sector who are directly responsible for the current financial and medical rumour mill.. costing real people their livelihoods.

25?...you realise the oil below 45 means bankruptcy for them?

SILLY boy.
Solvency = liquidity.
Majority of 2020 production hedged at > $57
Results on Thursday.
No short term debt due.
2021 debt is covered by 2019 FCF
Silly statements for what reason? After all you have no position here, not even a CFD or a SB, let alone a naked short.

"You could analyse for days. .but it still means a loss if the smart money that moves a market isn't agreeing. "

....

When you analyse..how do you know your view is institutional outlook too? Their broker ratings? Loool
