Believe it or not, we will see a lot of buys in the coming weeks. Investors will be adding more and averaging down hoping for a full recovery. I'm afraid they will lose more money. Renewable energy is the next big thing and for these small oil exploration companies they have just reached the end of the black gold era.

Wonder is it the end of small oilies? Given they have to money to transition to other energy types, do they really have a future at all?

Turvart I am no expert but I think the 'swing' production is only about 500,000 barrels a day. So if more is being produced than consumed it can rapidly build up on a physical basis as you need some place to store it.

Not hard to see how an imbalance can rapidly build up if OPEC cannot agree their output.

Why is oil dropping so much? is it because of electric cars?

cost to borrow for shorters is been driven down by a rush of supply to lending market

Utilization is up nearly 30% in 7 days

demand for shares to short increasing big time

........

freefloat on loan to lending market is up 6.37% in a week
shares on loan up 4 million in a week
A DTC of less than 2 days and the shorters dont care

..................

NOTE

these basic numbers are heading 'towards data'

short interest official - gone from 0% to 6,67% in weeks HEADING INTO DATA

.............

very basic numbers - yet seem to get ignored here. Whilst they do not assure data is bad, they sure do drive up buy side risk into data, about 80%

Tullow aren't going to survive as they have too much debts.

Tullow could collapse by the time coronavirus is clear around september/October time. Tullow share price is highly likely to drop below 10p in coming weeks due to oil supply chain is high but demand for oil around the world is low. Tullow could end up being taken over for peanut prices. Hard to see any positive for holders here.

well some majors - best to assess yield issues at that time because a lot of the investing in some majors is income based. May need them to be bailing out first for true capital value buys

Oil is going to $30 over the next few weeks, best invest in co's that can survive at that price point.

News from Africa press
Two numbers given for production,so we will find out more next week, but going the right way.

This has propelled the FPSO to currently produce at 96,200 barrels per day, while re-injecting and flaring more than 30 percent of gas produced, due to the less raw gas requirements by the Atuabo Gas Processing plant.”
