06/3/2020 21:11 | May have to sell Guyana to fight another day. Exxon would probably like some heavy crude for the refiners in the Gulf of Mexico. | ![]() mariopeter

06/3/2020 20:46 | in the full year results, including that Tullow's share of production last year averaged 86,700 barrels of oil per day (bopd). (That's behind guidance given in November). But we also know that well controlled capital expenditure means free cash flow and net debt have been kept in line with guidance for the financial year.Instead the focus will be on whether Tullow still expects at least $150m in free cash flow next year. We think a lower oil price could be an extra headwind here, with oil demand at its lowest in a decade, and coronavirus fears have the potential to make this worse. The final thing to keep an eye on is commentary surrounding the heavy oil found in Guyana. Tullow thinks the discovery could still hold some commercial value, and initial evaluations are underway.SEE THE LATEST TULLOW OIL SHARE PRICE, CHARTS AND HOW TO TRADE | ![]() teamwork1

06/3/2020 19:45 | Yes Mcsean hedging is saving the Company. They are projecting production of 75000 bopd and with the hedging (45000 bopd at $52) and $46 Brent for the whole year for the other 30000 bopd guess what happens. Breakeven free cashflow. With improved production it makes further cash and that's very easy to work out. Question of maths really. Banks will not want to enforce covenants as long as the debt is being serviced. They are not some cowboy outfit from New York looking to steal the assets. Russians are strengthening OPEC+ spine and will be back later. My take. | ![]() mariopeter |
