you know full well I was right and the reason you didn't quote any number what-so-ever for two months is because you were BSing

Whats happened to the price of Crude in the mean time up or down cannot be a substitute for the historical short or long positioning data which we discussed. Yes the Virus etc will have cost a lot of longs but it doesn't mean they were not net long ( when I said )

SentimentRules,

Money has already come back to Enquest and Premier. Market caps there much higher than they have traded at for the last year or so. Goldman are long Premier and ARCM have bought a $430m of the debt !

Premiers share price is now double what it once used to be.

......

auson im sure i can find entities manufacturing plastic dog poo, that can be pointers to divergence from sector

doesnt change the fact

sector(s) in bits and crude much lower than 2 months ago

also doesnt show that a rise in some company is based on smart money either

2 months ago you said contract futures long weight. I said short weight

2 months ago WTI was trading 62pb and sector trading 8100. Now 53pb and 7100

I didnt see any need to update net bear weight in the time since really

it simply all continued to unfold that way

SentimentRules,

How are those Oil futures contracts numbers coming along, been a few months now so my net long to your net short assertion are some what out of date. Have you actually seen any numbers in the last 2 months if so why wouldn't you state them to counter what I was saying some time ?

SentimentRules,

Surely you don't believe that alternatives 'greenwashing' clap trap.

I think you might be angling for a nice cheap entry here.
After all you did buy Metro Bank so you clearly have an eye for quality..

Macro true enough, is enough to slash and burn oilies looking ahead

Sector is well out of favour. Got to ask yourselves, which oilies will investors flock to if/when back in favour

given the massive investing going into alternatives by the majors, given crude outlook, do any of you really think these little ones have much chance going forward?

no money for alternative investment really

Dossou-Awouret is the guy who founded Energy Africa which was the making of Tullow tbh. Also of Petrolin so he's no fool and doesn't invest unless he knows what is happening. He's no gambler unlike most of us one here.

Have to say I'm very tempted to put some back in here but I'm more worried about the macro than the micro. Tullow will make it through easy but it's the oil price for me.

bgt in here today, likely to be a bumpy ride. Probably not the bottom, (that's always hard to predict), but hopefully in 12 months will look like a good entry point.
