As "whity" had a runner with the tail between the legs
maybe this custard got stuck in too many places and is hard to get rid off.

here it is....

At what ownership levels by an acquirer is public disclosure required
Disclosure Thresholds
Disclosure is needed where the below thresholds are met from holding either: (i) securities with voting rights, or (ii) financial instruments (entitlements to acquire and instruments with similar economic effect), or a combination of both (i) and (ii).

Reaching, exceeding or falling below:

UK-incorporated issuer: 3% of total voting rights and each whole percentage point after that; and

Non UK-incorporated issuer: 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%, 50% and 75% of total voting rights.

Where a holder of a previously notified financial instrument acquires the underlying shares and a shares threshold is tripped but overall % held is unchanged, the change in nature of holding needs to be disclosed.

The disclosure rules apply only to holdings in (a) UK incorporated or non-UK incorporated issuers whose shares are admitted to trading on an EEA regulated market and whose home Member State is the UK and (b) UK incorporated issuers whose shares are admitted to trading on a UK prescribed market (e.g. AIM).

AIFM managing an AIF holding shares in a non-listed company should disclose under AIFMD rules on AIF reaching, exceeding or falling below 10%, 20%, 30%, 50% and 75% of total voting rights.

Disclosable Interests
Disclosure rules apply to direct and indirect holdings of: (i) issued voting shares admitted to trading on an EEA regulated market; (ii) financial instruments which on maturity give the holder under a formal agreement the unconditional right to acquire or the discretion to acquire issued voting shares; and (iii) financial instruments with similar economic effect referenced to (i) or (ii) whether or not physically settled. Financial instruments with similar economic effect providing exclusively for cash settlement are to be calculated on a delta adjusted basis. .

re - whites123 -- The fall was created by PI's

Your are far too sure of your own fantasies
Just because only one Institution has made a TR1, does not mean, Institutions were not selling or shorting.

WOW: You ignorance is compelling... Do you understand the term "Discloseable position". Are you aware of the regulations surrounding disclosure?

re - whites123 -- The fall was created by PI's

Your are far too sure of your own fantasies
Just because only one Institution has made a TR1, does not mean, Institutions were not selling or shorting.

1- Many did not have over 3% so they did not have to declare anything, in this case selling.
2 - The same case is on shorting, they do not need to declare if they are under 0.50%
3 - The shorting below was declare because it went over this 0.50% on the 9th the day of the large fall, they had 0.47% ( no need to declare at the time) and like this plenty did that day, and they are NOT PI's
4- Sometimes you open your mouth too much, without research that you beg us to do.

Just to say reluctant to give narrative because charts have helped me find good entries and exits but are not definitive guidance. Credibility of the commentator is at risk and as someone else posted here lots of money can be won or lost by influence. If I said for example I would be selling into a 33% retrace at say 73 that just might encourage others to sell at that point rightly or wrongly. As you know fundamental news of significance blow charts out of the water and by the way, so do hedge funds which is why I stopped spreads.

There are big events on charts occasionally (breakouts of long trend lines and golden crosses) such as the one on the 5 year in Tullow earlier November. The market knew more than us and if just once you spot that and it saves you money then charts are worth knowing about.

Anyway good luck holders.
PS "toplists" on advfn can give you some chart breakouts but I ignore most of them.

re - TR1 M&G Plc bought their stock back !

Not exacly, they had 5.86% earlier and their TR1 today is 5.26% from under 5%
So a few more millions to buy if they want to get to their earlier holding
