Target 1pound currently. Although perfer 140p , the drop to 40p was never warranted.

Didn't T farm into that Peru license? (it's not really on my radar) If yes, then maybe the seismic had already been shot. i.e T may have farmed into a drill ready well.

Pound has gone up and tullow deals with dollars, so I'm sure this would affect tullow profits.

Agreed but you normally acquire and do your own seismic, option appraisal etc which normally takes a couple of years

Less draconian carbon reduction target, no stated Labour windfall tax on oil, unchanged proposed corporation tax, no large company confiscation of equity by the Government, etc. etc. Relief rally ? Sector will benefit as well as fund flows normally good in lead up to Christmas. Tullow is special situation so will not necessarily benefit as much from passive funds. Generally great result for inward investment. Negative is the serious negotiation with the EU.. but with this majority they will not be able to divide and rule the House of Commons. Also dollar earner affected by strength of sterling.

When a company signs a PSC there's an agreed work program. Dunno what the program was for Peru, but may have included drilling a/some well(s).

Nobody seems to have questioned how come we are spending money on a newly priotised drill in Peru. was it a case the new president threatened to take the licencrs from tlw unless they drilled sharpish

Either way something stinks

white......i dont normally post too much on bb's, but, I really can't help myself this time.
Instead of knocking people about not knowing company headquarters (and other irrelevant details), maybe you should learn the difference between advice and advise?
Really, that's how petty your comments are.
I do not take interest in many of the things you consider important....has not stopped me from making a very healthy living from the markets.
Good luck

I accept the counter argument do your own research/learning but why do the chartists go to the trouble of posting their charts without telling the ignoranti, such as me, what they mean.

Self Proclaimed Master and strumpy..

My Custard Cream slope suggests it will rise, unless it retraces on which case it may dip... (Into my tea)...
But as sure as eggs are eggs you can bet your last pound I will be back to say how great I am and my predictions were right due to my new fortune telling biscuits..

Like I said, you guys claim to know everything yet know absolutely nothing... Not even basics like where the company is headquartered, nor where any 3 of their licenses are, nor able to even name to 2 booted execs... Shameful... Utterly shameful...
