Think there is a 35 day period in which the Yanks can change their minds if they withdraw today. More pressure on Iran to tweak the deal during that period if applicable.

A few snippets from Kosmos Q1 results:-

With drilling now resumed, the focus in Ghana has turned to growing production across Jubilee and TEN. In March, the Maersk Venturer drillship arrived in Ghana and commenced operations. In 2018, the partnership plans to drill and complete four producers, including two each at Jubilee and TEN, and complete a water injector at Jubilee. The Ntomme-5 well at TEN is the first well scheduled to be placed on production, anticipated in early July. Drilling activity at TEN is expected to allow production to increase towards the FPSO capacity of 80,000 bopd.

Gross oil production from the Ceiba Field and Okume Complex averaged over 47,000 bopd during the first quarter of 2018, exceeding the full year 2018 forecast of 43,000 barrels per day.

Slightly unfortunate timing for UK investors mariopeter. We were frozen out of the spike up in crude today due to markets being closed here, and tomorrow Mr Erratic will announce his decision on Iran after London has already closed.

7pm BST on 8/5/2018 Trump will announce his plans about the Iran deal. Will be a volatile day tomorrow I think. If I was going to break my election campaign promise I would not draw attention to it so I see this as trouble for Iran.

Iran's diplomacy seems poor but it seems a stretch for nuclear US and Israel to expect Iran to surrender it's ballistic weapons. They'd be wide open to attack not just from the us & Israel but Saudi too. Looks like oil up, maybe that's what Trump wants?

Alfi, to be fair the DOW may be partly to blame which was down 400points as the FTSE was closing and now its in positive territory so we'll see tomorrow ;)

Alfiex, that could be answered a million different ways depending on ones stance. Oil price must be the most manipulated and from every angle.
....best to just chill on that one ;)

Refinery Utilisation 91.1% (-0.5%)
US Weekly Prod'n +33K bopd to 10619K (New record).

slightly bearish numbers but OP held up on Venezuela's IMF issues.
