surely if its been lurking around the 190s for some time, IE trading in the range that covers the gap, then it`s not strictly a gap is it?

With in next couple of month's maybe, but one thing is certain, it will fill that gap. The higher it goes, the more the fall, unfortunately.

Yes the IMF oil projection seems low given that world demand is ahead of supply. The glut has gone. Further, whilst demand is relentless supply is vulnerable, limited by lack of investment and also controlled. Saying that, they might be right if world growth slowed but the IMF is not predicting that.

Agree, gap fill and buy, totally depends on where the oil price heads clearly. I'm thinking a pullback as things calm down around Syria ;)

ok,.....20 day SMA is about 197p now, and rising.

I guess it will all come down to price of oil in the short term, which is really being tossed around by events. Interesting times.

20ma at 200 ema is fine, as there is always over shoot.

Traders work on sma rather than ema.
