A company that was trading about £15 a share, dropped to £1.5 says a lot.This company has lost more than 80% of it's value.Short it to zero.

I was looking at the last half hour of trades and there had been 15 (1750) trades that went through, that would add up in a day.

IMO It`s probably just a ii buying. Hence the rise.

There is definitely a lot of alto trading with tlw....you see for ex. 1750 trade repeatedly each day every day and it is used to knock the share price up and down.

The increase started around the time I started putting 15ks on the ask...it had been flatlining all day. Now could it be that the algo's get excited by some volume on the bid and go after it to drive volume? Really weird but isn't first time this happened...have had it on HUR before.Could of course have been simply a Friday pm tlw surge for which tlw is well known.

I reckon C&H formation here will see this surge to £3 fairly quickly now. For the record I have no position but wish I was long. Well done sux for spotting the turn.

Sounds like they could be actually discussing a specific 2nd rig now:-

In March, the drill ship arrived in Ghana and commenced operations drilling two wells including one at TEN and one at Jubilee. The rig will then begin completions work with the first well Ntomme-5 at TEN scheduled to be placed on production in early July. In 2018, the partnership plans to drill and complete four producers including two each at Jubilee and TEN and a water injection well at Jubilee.

Furthermore, the partnership is in discussions on the addition of a second drilling rig in Ghana which could arrive in the field as early as October and contribute to increase production volumes in 2019.

A 2nd rig wouldn't have much impact in '18, but would accelerate FCF in 2019 - which would give something for the market to look forward to.

Edit: The Oct 18 timing might fit in with Ocean Rig Poseidon which is booked to drill the Namibia well for Tullow on a day rate of $175K if memory serves.

Is it a case of higher PoO that would convince TLW to get second rig?
...Clearly there is more to it than PoO but at what PoO do you think they`ll go ahead?

This stock trends well for about 8 weeks then it falls to correction zone for about 4 weeks.Question should be made where the smart money should go for next 4-5 weeks for the theory to be proven wrong or right

I think that Premier Oils trading update, Out 16th May, Will help Tullow with a penny or two on the upside.
We shall see.
